Bingo it’s a cartel drop point like LA.
“I told you we were out of unleaded today!”
Good
He won’t be doing that again.
He was not a Democrat, he was a Republican. He was my roomate and my best friend while at the Citadel. He served in the 82nd Airborne 6 different deployments.
Afghanistan messed him up bad. Others and I spent years trying to help him. He even moved back to his native Thailand and became a buddhist monk in an effort to stop his demons and PTSD. Knowing Agnew as well as I have for the past 17 years, he was probably having a flashback and legitimately thought he was in Afghanistan. I dont fault the clerk for defending himself. I just wish the VA could have done something to help Agnew, just once in the previous 9 years.
His dad was Irish he moved to Thailand after serving in Vietnam. Andrew Agnew was half Thai and half American
Agnew was a war hero who served in the 82nd Airborne through 6 deployments. Once he was out of the service, the VA just tossed him away and I spent the past 9 years watching Agnew’s flashbacks get worse and worse until they ended his life.
Agnew had two bronze stars. I roomed with him at The Citadel, I spent years driving up to Ft. Brag to visit him. Knowing the guy as well as I have for the past 17 years, he was probably going through a flashback and thought that the customers and clerk were taliban. ( I am not joking I and other fiends have had to fold him down and try and talk him down when he has had flashbacks and gotten violent with us)
Agnew had PTSD and a TBI from 6 deployments with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was my roommate at The Citadel. I knew him for 17 years and I and other guys from our Platoon spent the past 9 years trying to help him and watching VA do absolutely nothing about his mental health or deteriorating state. I dont blame clerk for justified self defense, but I miss my band my brother. I wish he could have found some way to stop the flashbacks.
