Former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is slated to host a virtual fundraiser for House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) amid backlash she received for speaking out against former President Trump.
To co-host, donors have been asked to pay $5,800, and $2,900 to attend the event, according to an invitation first obtained by Politico.
The fundraiser comes as Cheney will face two primary challengers — Wyoming state Rep. Chuck Gray (R) and State Sen. Anthony Bouchard (R) — after the Wyoming representative voted to impeach Trump

NEVER FORGET that this Quisling POS was Speaker for the first 2 years and he REFUSED to give Committee’s Subpoena Power when Investigating the Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow the United States Presidency.

Of course there’s TWO primary challengers. That’s the GOPe playbook. It’s an open primary so they split the true conservative vote in the primary, all the democrats in the state will vote for the RINO and Cheney gets two more years.
Lindsey Graham wins the same exact way.

Liz Cheney’s problem is not fundraising, the military industrial complex will give her all the money she requests, her problem is the citizens of the State of Wyoming aka the deplorables who actually vote for this POS.

Ryan thinks he really served America well.
Yep, he and McConnell staved off any improvements during the
first two years of Trump’s term in office.
In the history books, that is going to be seen as one of the biggest
political mistakes in our nation’s history.
America loving people, should never forget it.
As for him helping Cheney, it speaks volumes about both.

According to information obtained by Breitbart News, former House Speaker Paul Ryan is coming to the defense of Liz Cheney and will host a fundraiser on her behalf next month.
Not surprisingly, this will provide an opportunity for the K-Street lobbying multinationals to provide revenue for Ms. Cheney to defend her tenuous House seat from primary challengers who are lined up to take her out.
BREITBART – Former House Speaker Paul Ryan will hold a fundraiser for embattled House GOP Conference chairwoman Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) at the end of March, an invitation obtained by Breitbart News shows.
The fundraiser, a “virtual event,” is slated for Thursday, March 25 at 11 a.m. eastern. The invitation asks donors to give “suggested contributions” of $2,900 to “attend,” or $5,800 to be a “co-host” of the Ryan-Cheney event.
[…] Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, is now facing challenges from state Sen. Anthony Bouchard and a newly announced candidate state Rep. Chuck Gray. Polling in the race shows Cheney in serious trouble, and likely headed for an eventual loss. Republicans across the party have repeatedly attacked her by name, and ripped her aggressively in interviews and speeches at CPAC. Her standing in the party is diminishing quickly, much like Ryan’s did after a year plus as Speaker during Trump’s presidency. (more)
…”The Democrats don’t have grand-standers like Mitt Romney, little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey; and in the House, Tom Rice, South Carolina, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez. That’s another beauty. Fred Upton, Jamie Herrera Butler, Peter Meyer, John Katko, David Valadeo. And of course the warmonger, a person that loves seeing our troops fighting, Liz Cheney. How about that? The good news is in her state, she’s been censured. And in her state, her poll numbers have dropped faster than any human being I’ve ever seen. So hopefully, they’ll get rid of her with the next election. Get rid of them all!”
… Donald J Trump (CPAC)

Trump got more votes than Cheney in Wyoming in 2020
And Cheney is the only Rep for the state.

Paul Ryan should never show his face after losing a debate to Joe Biden.

I think Ryan is making a mistake.

It is just not the GOPe playbook. It the old tried and true political playbook.
like the poster said, Trump needs to get out there and force the weaker one out. FORCE the weaker one...then that one needs to get behind the other full bore. If that one does not do that..then that one is exposed and becomes a grand campaign issue for the stronger one.
