because they don’t “want the baby to grow up and get covid”

Which means they expect Covid to be around for another 65 years, with masks, distancing, and all businesses closed?

they got a taste o the power behind shutdowns- then ext few years will be interesting to see if they try foisting more ‘pandemic shutdowns’ on us-

When they feel like citizens are getting uppity, they will pull this crap on us- Right now they are doing their ‘show of force’ by walling off the capitol, bringing in the guards, and goign after and punishing anyone who supported Trump and was at the capitol- while letting known antifa agitants who were there go without being charged-

The left are a vile group- it’s all about power and control, and punishing people that don’t fall into line

I can think of at least 2 “Republicans” who are probably more likely to vote yes because tax money can be used to kill babies but they can hide in minority and get away with it.

Contact your two US senators
urge a NO vote on the COVID
relief bill that funds abortions

************* They voted early this morning to pass the “Rescue” bill

I watched

Then watched Schumer gloat about how much the dems are helping all of the people, rainbows and balloons and unicorn speech.

49-50

I don’t think calling can undo that

Or did I miss something?

I also watched them do a voice vote on two amendments, the nays were clearly louder than the yeas, but whoever it was at the desk said the ayes have it.

Obvious cheating

No GOP asked for a roll call vote. SPINELESS!

Rand Paul claims victory in fight over PPP money to Planned Parenthood in Senate COVID relief bill
Fox ^ | March 5 | By Brooke Singman
FR Posted on 3/6/2021, 2:46:55 PM by RandFan

GOP Sen. Rand Paul said Friday he was “successful” in preventing the Senate coronavirus relief bill from including a provision that would provide Paycheck Protection Program assistance to Planned Parenthoods across America, Fox News has learned.

The senator’s office on Friday said he “forced” Democrats to remove the provision that would have allowed every Planned Parenthood across America to receive funds through the PPP, which “was always intended for small businesses.”

“Democrats knew this was never about COVID relief or helping small businesses,” Paul, R-Ky., told Fox News. “It was a shameless attempt to fund their radical agenda on the taxpayers’ backs, and I was successful in preventing that from happening by stopping these funds from going to abortion mills.”

According to Paul’s office, the House-passed version of the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package included a provision that would treat individual Planned Parenthood locations as “separate and distinct entities,” making them eligible for federal assistance under the PPP.

Paul’s office pointed to the “original congressional intent” of the PPP — established last year at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic — which was to limit large and well-financed groups from receiving a loan and instead provide relief to small businesses affected by COVID-19.

Sources told Fox News that Senate Democrats had planned to waive affiliation rules for nonprofits to provide paycheck protection loans to Planned Parenthoods in the House version of the bill, but that Paul “strenuously” argued to the Senate parliamentarian that the waiver would “only benefit” Planned Parenthood.

Fox News has learned that before the parliamentarian was able to rule on the arguments presented, Democrats filed an updated version of the bill that did not include the provision, in what Paul’s office called “a concession that avoided setting a precedent.”

Part of my point was why ask people to call senators and ask for something that was taken care of not to mention your request was after the vote was already done and passed.

Also there are no restrictions on the billions for bailouts going into Newsom and Cuomo’s pockets

They will fund abortions with that money

The spineless GOP don’t know how to fight for the people.

The reason that the GOP do not fight for the people is that they are in cahoots with the Democrats. They are at least blood brothers. Believe or not but facts are facts.

I’m confused. Why would the Hyde Amendment need to be added to this bill? It’s already in effect - if anything, this bill would need to explicitly be worded for it to not apply.

It's complicated. But as usual, the demos find ways around the blocking of funds for Planned Parenthood.

The $350 billion state bailout funds are particularly problematic as the bill doesn’t prevent states and localities from using taxpayer funds to pay for abortions. Under the current guidelines, liberal states like New York and California, which are likely going to receive the lion’s share of the bailout, can funnel millions to abortion giants like Planned Parenthood if they choose.

“While prior bipartisan COVID relief packages have included Hyde protections on funding streams that fall outside of existing limits on abortion funding, this bill departs from the status quo by leaving funds open to use for abortion. COVID relief money should be used for life-affirming purposes… we strongly support and will score in favor of amendments to mitigate the funding of abortion, abortion coverage, or abortion providers,”

Pro-abortion forces emboldened by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are shamelessly exploiting the COVID-19 crisis to expand abortion on demand, paid for by taxpayers. By failing to include Hyde Amendment protections and forcing taxpayers to bail out the abortion industry, their so-called ‘rescue plan’ abandons some of the most vulnerable Americans – unborn children and their mothers.

The United States of America is not Babylon in Jeremiah 51.

However, the Democrats and their friends, especially in Hollywood are making America share many of the same errors as Babylon.

And for that reason, Jeremiah 51 does serve as an example and a warning.

They think the God of Heaven is giving a wink and a nod to their evil.

He most certainly isn’t. And it makes me tremble inside.

The United States of America is not Babylon in Jeremiah 51.

The Writing on the Wall (Dan. 5)

5 King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them. 2 While Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets that Nebuchadnezzar his father[a] had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. 3 So they brought in the gold goblets that had been taken from the temple of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them. 4 As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.

5 Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. 6 His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his legs became weak and his knees were knocking.

7 The king summoned the enchanters, astrologers[b] and diviners. Then he said to these wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing and tells me what it means will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around his neck, and he will be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.”

8 Then all the king’s wise men came in, but they could not read the writing or tell the king what it meant. 9 So King Belshazzar became even more terrified and his face grew more pale. His nobles were baffled.

10 The queen,[c] hearing the voices of the king and his nobles, came into the banquet hall. “May the king live forever!” she said. “Don’t be alarmed! Don’t look so pale! 11 There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners. 12 He did this because Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar, was found to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding, and also the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.”

13 So Daniel was brought before the king, and the king said to him, “Are you Daniel, one of the exiles my father the king brought from Judah? 14 I have heard that the spirit of the gods is in you and that you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom. 15 The wise men and enchanters were brought before me to read this writing and tell me what it means, but they could not explain it. 16 Now I have heard that you are able to give interpretations and to solve difficult problems. If you can read this writing and tell me what it means, you will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around your neck, and you will be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.”

17 Then Daniel answered the king, “You may keep your gifts for yourself and give your rewards to someone else. Nevertheless, I will read the writing for the king and tell him what it means.

18 “Your Majesty, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. 19 Because of the high position he gave him, all the nations and peoples of every language dreaded and feared him. Those the king wanted to put to death, he put to death; those he wanted to spare, he spared; those he wanted to promote, he promoted; and those he wanted to humble, he humbled. 20 But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory. 21 He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.

22 “But you, Belshazzar, his son,[d] have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this. 23 Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. 24 Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription.

25 “This is the inscription that was written:

mene, mene, tekel, parsin

26 “Here is what these words mean:

Mene[e]: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.

27 Tekel[f]: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.

28 Peres[g]: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

29 Then at Belshazzar’s command, Daniel was clothed in purple, a gold chain was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom.

30 That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians,[h] was slain, 31 and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.[i]

Rev 10:

Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:

“‘Woe! Woe to you, great city, you mighty city of Babylon!

In one hour your doom has come!

There are many correlations between the end-time Babylon, sometimes called “mystery” Babylon, and original Babylon.

The original is a shadow of the one which will exist at the end of the church age. Her fate will be similar to Babylon found in Jeremiah 51, as described in Rev. 18.

You may or may not believe end-time Babylon is America. I’m not 100% sure it is either. However, if we are at the end of the age, I’m about 90% sure it is based on many other correlations.

In Jeremiah 18:49, “Babylon must fall because of Israel’s slain, just as the slain in all the earth have fallen because of Babylon” and Revelation 18:24, “In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people, of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

This brings us back to something I find extremely troubling. That is, America, once the greatest nation on earth, once a “Golden Cup” (see Jeremiah 51) in the Lord’s hand, is now responsible for the deaths of millions worldwide at the hand of the abortionist, which her USSC blessed by its ruling on Roe v. Wade.

Bless you for watching the signs

We’re not mystery babylon either - it’s a city - revelation says so repeatedly

That being said it seems the handwriting is on the wall

The spiritual lessons of all those certainly do apply

Maranatha!
