A U.S. agency investigating Facebook Inc for racial bias in hiring and promotions has designated the probe as “systemic,” attorneys for three job applicants and a manager who claim the company discriminated against them told Reuters on Friday.
A “systemic” probe means the agency, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, suspects company policies may be contributing to widespread discrimination.
The EEOC typically resolves disputes through mediation or allowing complainants to sue employers. But agency officials designate a few cases “systemic,” enabling investigators to rope in specialists to analyze company data and potentially bring a broader lawsuit representing entire classes of workers.
Facebook operations program manager Oscar Veneszee Jr. and two applicants denied jobs brought a charge last July to the EEOC, and a third rejected applicant joined the case in December. They have alleged Facebook discriminates against Black candidates and employees by relying on subjective evaluations and promoting problematic racial stereotypes.
The designation of the EEOC’s probe has not been previously reported.
The EEOC has not brought allegations against Facebook. Its investigation, which may last months more, may not result in findings of wrongdoing. The agency declined to comment.

This is an inevitable byproduct of the two-tiered education system, where semi-literate minorities are socially promoted/given meaningless diplomas and degrees. On paper they may appear as qualified as real employees (products of the upper tier, where there is still some learning going on), so you MUST hire & promote them accordingly (in the eyes of the law).
Most companies get around this by simply using different preferred minorities; Hispanics have displaced many blacks from the workforce permanently.

By 2030....Hispanics will control state governments in at least ten states (Florida might be one of them). This entire current gimmick of racism...has a brief window of opportunity to exist, and then the Hispanic ‘pay-back’ will start to occur.
While I would like to see just laws and see them enforced fairly, I will enjoy this circus.
Facebook supported the corrupt election of Biden/Harris, and they supported the theft of the election when Biden/Harris couldn’t win on valid ballots. For Facebook to suffer would be just.
I thought when Trump won 1/3 of their votes that the gimmick was backfiring; they don’t want to live under the impoverished leftist police states they fled.

Many get preferencialy accepted to college and then have to take a semester or two of remedial math and English just survive from their worthless high school “education”. They get churned out by the college who now meets some federal criteria. They now apply for a job with the same degree as the next guy. A company either hires them or better have a substantially legally defensible reason to not hire them. They get hired, and now the fun and exposure really begins where profit and pulling your own weight can no longer be papered over with phony quota baloney. Good luck.

My company uses African immigrants in large numbers...works out great for us as they were actually taught things like doing math without calculators and they learned reading through phonics. In fact, they’re at least as productive as the whites and Asians we have.
Wonder how that works?

Now that the game has gone on for years, they AREN’T getting hired - the companies know many add little or no value, but often bring racial tension. The screening process is adapting to expose the ruse...
I’ve had similar experience with West African and Caribbean co-workers - and the black Americans resent them (no love lost there). I believe the former are disgusted by the opportunities squandered by the latter; they’ve also seen where black “self-determination” leads (and flee their own black-governed countries).
