Where do we draw the line between what is ‘conservative’ and what isn’t ‘conservative’? Well, for many establishment Republicans, also known by some as ‘Conservative Inc.’, the only two distinctions between right and left are free markets and principled constitutionalism. However, traditionally, conservatives have sought to protect Christian and American values. Things like preserving the family, promoting law and order, and protecting the sacred tradition of marriage between a man and a woman had been the backbone of the conservative movement. It seems as if nowadays, these values have been completely thrown aside. Big League Politics has previously reported on establishment conservative organizations, such as Turning Point USA, pushing transgenderism and homosexuality on Republican college students.
Rather than bend the knee to the left, as most Republicans do, social conservatives like Lauren Witzke have decided to take a stand and say: “Enough is enough.” Witzke, who is the Spokeswoman for Hold the Line PAC, recently clashed on Twitter with former Trump Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who is openly a homosexual.
The whole debacle began when Lauren Witzke replied to a tweet by Grenell, praising the GOP for its inclusivity to transgender people, referring to transgenderism as ‘mental illness’:

Homosexuality is deeply perverted and evil. It manifests in many psychoses when Indulged in. Yes, it destroys women and children, removing them as cornerstones of society. It cannot exist with religious liberty. Zero tolerance here - there can be none.
People who do not accept the reality of what is in their underwear are indeed mentally ill and the rest of us should not be forced to indulge their delusions.

And now Lauren tells the truth and Grenell is calling for her to be cancelled and the GOP is backing Grenell because he likes Trump.

Like the Republican party, conservatives have become lifeless nobodies. It’s been a dying movement since Reagan left office. Donald Trump is poison to Conservative Inc, his populist inclinations repulse them.
If this is how the actual conversation took place, I am disappointed with Grenell. I thought he was one of the rare gay conservatives who accepted a basic sense of order in society.
In other words, Grenell’s remarks lead me to think he agrees with allowing bio-males to compete in girls sports and any other sex based activity. I thought he knew the hazards of the vast majority catering to a small minority’s fantasy of how they ‘identify’.
There has been recent chatter on Richard Grenell running for California Governor if/when Gov. Newsom is ousted.
If this is how Grenell believes it should be, then I won’t vote for him. I won’t vote for the constant encroachment on individual rights by a special interest group.
The GOP is inclusive to transgender?
After reading the tweets, I have to side with (the totally not guilty) Lauren on this. I had hopes for Grenell, but at the end of the day, his “lifestyle” trumps all. He was using passive/aggressive attacks on her by saying “so gays are not welcome into the GOP now?”. I could easily see Grenell going over to the ‘rat side because of their “inclusiveness”.
When the mind and reality do not intersect.
Mental illness.
The so-called “transgender” phenomena is harmful to both individuals and to society at large.
One does not need to examine the practices from a Christian viewpoint to recognize the harm being done.
I am very socially conservative but don’t see any man as perfection; and supported and continue to support Trump. He is blind to the homosexual agenda threat IMO. I also didn’t like his deficit spending. Or his pardons of duly convicted criminals that I am aware of. Doesn’t mean I don’t overall support him.
I am always voting for the “lesser of two evils” as are we all. Hilary was a thousand times worse. Trump did great good.
One does not have to look at homosexuality from a Christian perspective to objectively see the biological insanity, the psychological harm, or the social harm either. Same with all the sexual evils like porn and prostitution and adultery - great harms to a culture. The innocent suffer.
I will say it until I am blue in the face - this “lifestyle” ALWAYS trumps all. It is so obsessive and messed up, everything bows to it. Compulsive.
That’s why don’t have them in the military! In law enforcement! Etc. IT TRUMPS ALL

After being disappointed over and over and over by minorities and women (in both politics and at work), I’m at the point of thinking that the Tribe ALWAYS wins. There are no exceptions - just tribal people who haven’t yet had to publicly decide whether to go with the tribe or to join our side and try to protect some level of sanity in our society.
This sucks, but I don’t imagine it ever changing, at least in my lifetime.

Doesn’t mean we can’t hold them dear, but you’re right. Loved my wife’s dementia aunt, who safely passed away, but i surely wouldn’t let her have sharp scissors.
