A New Albany, Ohio, music school offering piano, guitar and violin lessons racked up under nearly $1 million in loans and $35,000 in credit card debt.
A fine dining restaurant in Providence, R.I., received more than $450,000 in federal small-business funds to help pay workers but still had to close its doors.
A nonprofit overseeing the Kit Carson Home and Museum in Taos, N.M., welcomes visitors to learn about the famous frontiersman but listed just $17,000 in assets even after every bone-handled knife, buffalo hide apron and flintlock musket had been tallied.
Nearly a year since coronavirus-related shutdowns began affecting large swaths of the American economy, more businesses are filing for bankruptcy as Chapter 11 filings were up nearly 20 percent in 2020 compared with the previous year, court records show.
Data on a subset of businesses ― those registered as corporations ― show that some sectors are faring much worse than others, with restaurants, retailers, entertainment companies, real estate firms and oil and gas ventures filing for protection in far greater numbers than in previous years, according to New Generation Research.

Getting rid of Trump is the only motivation that makes sense.
At least to me.
I never saw any evidence that COVID-19 was so dangerous as to make blanket shut downs of business warranted.
Interesting to see this finally being talked about. When this Wuhan virus crap began, I mentioned a few times in those early FR threads that the one huge purposely or otherwise unmentioned thing that will invariably come from all these lockdowns, etc. will be the sheer amount of bankruptcies that will occur both on the individual level and business level. States will likewise feel the huge fiscal pains of such, to boot.
The Demonrat Party KILLS and DESTROYS everything it touches
That’s because there is no evidence !
Along along the road to The Great Reset.
I said before the only thing that will survive this will be grocery stores and gas stations.
And probably WalMart - maybe a few fast-food places, too.
And Amazon...
And South Dakota.
Oh yeah good catch
My guess has been that Amazon Prime will be used during the celebration of the deaths of the Two Witnesses in Revelation 11.
Discretionary dollars are gone for many people - and Zho Bai-Dan will see to it that the return of manufacturing begun under Trump quickly ends. The McJob economy will be the economy of the future; even STEM jobs aren’t safe.
The democrats will wreck the country for sure

The “homeless” should be the most vulnerable to a virus that is so deadly that everyone be placed in house arrest, yet, their have been no reports of the thousands of homeless have died. How is it a group of individuals with little sanitation, with underlying medical conditions, no proper shelter or clothing seem to be immune to the virus?
It is not just in the US, it seems this madness is world wide. The only common denominator I can see they are all leftest and they all are using this virus to “reset” the world.
Homeless people may have a lot of problems, but I’d say “irrational, hysterical fears” aren’t among them.
TRUMPRID-19
Economy shutdown using pandemic as excuse has been "planned" since before Trump. There is a publication on CDC virus pandemic pages thta notes "we don't know how the public would react to shudown order" or similar.
Bigger game afoot here.
True
What was the driving force behind the World Wide COVID response?
The World Health Organization that had a great hatred for Trump because he withdrew the US from the WHO. Taking with it something like 300 billion dollars.
The WHO would burn down the world to stop a second Trump administration.
We live on a rural homestead. Even though I work in a nearby metro are, our lives in comparison really didn't change that much through all this. Due to a number of factors, I've had way more contact with people outside our immediate circle the last couple of months than through all of 2020. I am shocked beyond belief at how many people are out there exactly like you described above.
