Recall Begins for Soros-backed Los Angeles D.A. George Gascón
Breitbart ^ | FEBRUARY 28, 2021 | JOEL B. POLLAK

Victims’ rights advocates launched an effort Saturday to recall Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, the George Soros-backed prosecutor whose radical policies have upended the criminal justice system in the county.

Gascon, who was a “progressive” district attorney in San Francisco during a period in which the city saw rising concerns about drug abuse and petty crime, was the beneficiary of millions of dollars in spending by Soros, who has backed left-wing prosecutors across the nation in an attempt to impose radical criminal justice reforms.

He took office in December vowing to end cash bail, prohibit the use of the death penalty, and end sentence enhancements for crimes committed in aggravating circumstances. His efforts to seek a milder sentence for a suspect accused of a double murder, including that of L.A. Sherrif’s Deputy Gilbert Solano, provoked outrage from the victim’s family and from victims’ rights advocates.

Local prosecutors sued Gascón over his policies, and won a judgement suspending many of them, though the case is expected to continue through the court system.

Now, victims’ rights advocates are kicking off a recall effort, as the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday:

Victims rights advocates on Saturday kicked off their recall campaign against newly elected Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. George Gascón, who has vowed sweeping criminal justice reforms to the nation’s largest prosecutor’s office.

The recall campaign group held a “victims vigil” outside the Hall of Justice downtown and planned to gather the minimum of 20 signatures required to file a notice of intent to formally begin the recall process next month. About 100 people attended the event, organizers said.

I’m assuming any Californian can sign this recall petition, so I’ll be looking for it online, as I know quite a few Cali residents who would sign it. Thanks for the information!

He is the Los Angeles District Attorney. Don’t you think only people living in LA City or LA County would have a say in his recall?

Forget poaching the LA Public Defender’s office for new DA’s; go straight to Pelican Bay for more DA’s. No experience needed, other than a life of crime and/or hatred.

There is a recall petition in motion against the DA in San Francisco as well. He may be even worse than the LA DA.

California is far and away the most beautiful state in the union

We have the best mountains the best weather the most beautiful oceans and the worst politicians

But I think what was exposed in 2020 is the enormous cheating machine that the Democrats have set up an ingrained into many of the places that they’ve taken over

We shall see if were able to undo this incredible fraud machine or not

Gascon is DA of LA County. Only registered voters in LA County can sign a recall petition.

As for Gruesome Newsom, anyone signing that petition must be a registered voter and can only sign the petition being circulated in the county in which the voter is registered.

He can we recall Biden-Harris?

I'm sure we could get enough signatures for that.

Biden can’t “RECALL” anything so half the job is done. Don’t know if California has a “recall” procedure for a federal official that would apply to the VP.

If you want “signatures” call Dominion Systems, any Democrat voting/ballot finagling machine in the country, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Gov. Dumbass, his former State Health Director Mrs. Rachel Levine, and his state election officials (for the most part).

They can “recall” anything except what happened on the night/morning of Nov. 4-5, 2020.
