Our government has appointed itself as judge, jury, and executioner of its own alleged misconduct. Unsurprisingly, it has found itself innocent. This is an inherently corrupt system and the way to change it is to “impeach” our government using a constitutional convention.
The Supreme Court’s decision denying the most recent Trump election lawsuit, recalls the case of Corinna Mullen. Her brutal murder went unsolved for years until an investigator found one slip of paper.
That document revealed that his predecessor had requested that the state crime lab return evidence without testing it. The evidence was later lost or “disappeared.” It then became clear why the case had never been solved: the people in charge of investigating it were the guilty parties.
This calls to mind the scenario that Dashiell Hammett wrote about in his short story “Nightmare Town,” about a lone private investigator who encounters a town where everyone, from the mayor to the busboy, is participating in the same criminal enterprise:
“You’re fined a hundred and fifty dollars and costs. The costs are fifteen dollars and eight cents, making a total of a hundred and six-five dollars and eighty cents. Will you pay it or will you go to jail?”“I’ll pay it if I’ve got it,” Steve said, turning to the marshal. “You took my money. Have I got that much?”
The marshal nodded his massive head.
“You have,” he said, “exactly – to the nickel. “Funny it should have come out like that – huh?”
“Yes – funny,” Steve repeated.

Not good enough. Impeachment still leaves the misconduct committed in place. Besides, there are plenty more corrupts in the wings to fill in the absences.
The only answer is divorce. Secession.
I agree that the illegitimate, criminal, tyrannical junta in DC that has stolen the election and taken over the now-defunct USA needs to be fought with every fiber of our being, but the GOPee co-conspirators that majority-voted for The Big Steal need to be fought just as hard. GOPee Delenda Est!
I figure the real action will occur either when Slow Joe and the Ho try to take the guns or we find we are barely able to afford heating our houses.
I hope I am around then because we’ll have pay TV to see the executions. Of leftists. All of them. Thoroughly. With pleasure.
Dang near impossible to impeach and remove what has had 60 years plus to entrench itself but IS nothing impossible ?

I think we’ve lost the country. People have been nervous about a Constitutional Convention. What if it goes wrong? What if it makes things worse? To me, that no longer matters. I think we’ve lost the country. Let’s take a chance and re-invent it. It’s time to see what The Second Republic looks like.
Secession! Yes, indeed! I’m glad to see I’m not the only one on this blog that is an advocate for nullification, non-compliance, and secession. Lately, it has seemed that way because there are so many GOPee perennial suckers that post here.

I agree. But how to do it without resorting to armed rebellion?
Don’t worry, we won’t have a choice about fighting, once they start rounding up “white supremacist domestic terrorists” for “preventive detention.”
This storm is coming to us, like it or not.
That’s the meaning of the fences, razor wire and troops around DC, and it’s why John Brennan is prepping us for OKC-level events. They intend to destroy us. We will be destroyed, or we will fight back. Simple as that.

Oh how right your are. If your scenario did not take place, the result of a Con-Con in today’s world would generate the Civil War.
