Kids say and believe all sorts of stupid stuff. Us old hippies can relate and should not complain, though it’s fair to laugh at them. :)

Ive known a few young ladies who identified as Lesbians when in their teen and early twenties who ended up marrying men when they got to mid twenties/thirties. It is a popular thing to be (as terribly sad as that is and destructive) but many grow out of it. It is pop culture via Hollywood and Music. If we had any brains and guts we would lynch them all and burn down their factories of filth.

They're doing it because it's trendy and "cool" to not be heterosexual. They are going to be so embarrassed later in life when one friend yells out at them saying "Hey Billy, I remember when you were some non-binary lesbian who only liked blonde haired men. Whatever happened to that?"
These morons deserve all the ridicule ... now and then ... that they'll get.

I kind of doubt it. People might act like fags but I doubt they are really doing much.

We have a winner. They have grown up in world where all that matters are the number of FB friends you can collect and how many likes you get on social media. So, if being LBGT is cool and they have been told since preschool that it is, then if you are just an average kid your best shot at all this attention and celebratory is to proclaim your LBGTness. Add to that the pressure to not be judgmental about even things you know are weird and you have the perfect storm. The sad thing is this a fad that potentially will scar these kids for life. Even if they don’t mutilate their bodies they are screwing up the emotional and mental health. Many of them will be so confused and disconnected from reality that they will commit suicide when that reality finally does seep in.
