Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Wednesday criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosiâs (D-Calif.) proposed commission to investigate the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol, calling its composition âpartisan by design.â
The Congress has yet to finalize the structure of the commission, which Pelosi said will be modeled after the one established by President George W. Bush to examine the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York City and the Pentagon. It is reported, however, that Democratic leaders had proposed a panel that would have seven members appointed by their partyâincluding three picked by President Joe Biden with subpoena powerâand four appointed by Republicans.
I for one want to read their lies about what they’re going to do to prevent the next fake capitol invasion.

I suggest any commission have its members picked by state governors and headed by a member picked by that commission. hopefully this would make it harder for those responsible to control the outcome of the commission.
