Fueled by the coronavirus pandemic, attacks against Asians surged in 2020 in New York City, city officials said Tuesday.
An NYPD’s hate crime task force recorded 28 anti-Asian attacks last year — compared to two incidents in 2019, according to Deputy Inspector Stewart Loo.
“Obviously, we didn’t have the pandemic,” he said about the jump.

Asian American Federation,I sure would like to find a Danish/Irish Federation to represent me /s. I read on Vdare.com the 2020 NYPD breakdown of the murders and assaults in New York....surprisingly Asians and WHITES were less than 6% as assailants. the remaining groups were black and hispanic making that 94% who did the deed....imagine that?

28 attacks is 28 too many, but I just looked it up and there are 1,878,000 Asians living in New York City (not counting people who commute there to work or for entertainment). So the average Asian in NYC had a one in 67,000 chance of being the victim of a hate crime (assault).
They should also compare levels of all crime in 2020 vs earlier. How much is due to BLM & lack of support for police, coddling of thugs by the Mayor etc.

IF some white guy beat on an anybody of Asian descent over covid, we would’ve heard about it because it would’ve dominated a news cycle or two. Remember Jussie Smollett anybody? The man staged the whole thing and it got over a month of national attention.
