That was a great Limbaugh tribute.
He won’t be replaced in anything or anyone resembling him. He was one of the last centralized conservative voices for broadcasting.
We’ll continue the trend toward decentralization, with streaming video and podcast audio - many different ideas and voices. Just like the long-standing trend in print.
That Rush could stay on top so clearly and so long during these blinding changes was astounding.
Freerepublic will always be here, however, making sense of them all!
On my computer I found a link at the bottom of my screen that took about ten minutes to download everything. But, ask AB he’s the computer guy.
“Rather than liberal name calling, refute one of the things I pointed out.”
I logically refuted your garbage conspiracy and I’m not going to pretend it didn’t happen so you can revert to BS fake political finger pointing.
People pointing out the facts about your Q-Tardish conspiracy about Ashli Babbit after her family has held a public memorial service for her back in their hometown is not name calling.
It’s fact citation.
You owe the Babbitt family a public apology. Do it now.
Some 700+ radio stations and WE who listen will determine “who’s the next Rush”.
The cream will rise, though none can replace Rush. Look for stations to move schedules to fill the noon-EST slot, with which no one here-to-fore dared compete.
Sean is heir and could retain the throne if he stops repeating himself and ceases making himself and his “ 30 years in radio and 24 at Fox News” part of every damn conversation.
Early last week, Sean said HE wants conservative governance, including lower taxes, secure borders, etc, etc, etc...”that’s what Sean Hannity wants.”
It sounded like Congress’ job was to satisfy him, not us. How dare they disobey. For my tastes, it’s too much of his way or the hi-way
He gets stuck on ideas such as “unverifiable”, “you’re not getting the billion dollars” in-frikn-cessantly ! I’ve heard it ! Stop ! He’s told me 10 thousand times—once a week, usually— he MCd Newt’s victory party in ‘94. I can repeat the stories verbatim. Perhaps familiarity brings contempt,
It’s true he and his 700 affiliates inherit the throne, for now. It’s in his heart and has true conservative creds.
I understand and I appreciate your tribute to Rush.
But I am still in mourning and just cannot wrap my mind around ANYONE to replace him.
Sean, Mark, Dan, all of them, are still on and have their own audiences. There’s lots of overlap. Some listen to many, others a few, but mostly I was just a Rush listener.
I honestly don’t know who will be the next to be the “counter to the left” because they ALL were doing so.
Like I said, I do understand you, I was just giving my own sad thoughts on the matter.
One other thing: The last few days Mark Steyn was acting like Rush was just feeling sick because of treatment and would be back.
I was checking every day on Rush’s site to see. I really thought Rush would beat the cancer. Call me stupid or naive, but I was sure his money and perseverance would combine to cure him.
I was shocked when he died. I didn’t think he was that close, and thought he was recovering.
Translation, you have nothing other than blind faith the gummit is not lying. Enough of your childish name calling and half the people here follow Q so not sure if it carries as much weight as your usual liberal websites.
How was she shot in the neck when the gun was aimed thigh high and 3 ft to the left?
How can he eat pizza when Texan’s kitchens are frozen???!!!
What a monster!
Gates tell coming up on Fox and wallace
Stage FOUR cancer - NO road to recovery. I was surprised / impressed with how long he did manage to live after the diagnosis.
Timing of his departure - Very Catholic - Fat Tue. / Ash Wed.
that's not what is at issue here.
What is at issue is getting a counter to leftwing bullsh_t on a daily basis. We can't let the left go unchecked and without Rush it may take a dozen or so others to fill in the gap. One who definitely needs to help fill in the gap is the only guy with 20 million listeners and another 3-5 on tv. We can't ignore Hannity his numbers are too great.
your successive ad hominems against FReepers
is neither logical nor normal responses,
continues absent sauce or bread, and remains
more impetuous than honest.
A lot of people find Hannity annoying. He has this tendency to be redundant repeating like-phrases over and over again. Even Lynda has criticized him for this. On top of that he already has a widely listened to show... you would just be bumping him down three hours on most stations.
OK
Gates spew
“Reliability issue”
Sounds like he had hard time getting that out
I use Chrome and Edge Chromium. You’ve got to load the Secure Chrome Download extension.
What browser are you using, Bray?
Sounds great! What are his numbers? How big is his reach?
Defensive
Has his arms crossed.
Rush was not Catholic, he mentioned a number of times he was a born again Christian like his brother.
Why do you keep calling Q followers retards? You do realize she was supposedly one, is she a retard too?
Temperatures going up.
Arms still crossed.
