Unfortunately we are talking numbers here. Rush had 20-25 million listeners. More online by tuning into affiliates and listening online like I do. More in cars, more worldwide,we may never know what Rush's true numbers were. Will his numbers or his style ever be duplicate,Hell no.

that's not what is at issue here.

What is at issue is getting a counter to leftwing bullsh_t on a daily basis. We can't let the left go unchecked and without Rush it may take a dozen or so others to fill in the gap. One who definitely needs to help fill in the gap is the only guy with 20 million listeners and another 3-5 on tv. We can't ignore Hannity his numbers are too great.

"We can't ignore Hannity his numbers are too great."

I agree completely. I usually listen to him, too, and, in fact, rebroadcast his webcast through a repeater in my house so I can listen to it in the yard. Nearby radio stations are too weak to hear it directly.

The difference, though, is that when Rush was on, I would listen attentively, and would only do physical things like walking, or yard work, so I could pay attention to him. With Hannity it's quite different. He's so repetitious, that I can do complex tasks, and only pay attention occasionally. Hannity has the best guests of anyone I can get, so I watch his entire TV show in 10 to 15 minutes by recording it and fast forwarding through every part where his lips are moving.
