Well, the forecast is much better for today. We're looking at a high of 34 today, 44 for Saturday and 56 for Sunday so it looks like the snow will melt and the roads will get much better.
And, Gizmo can't wait, so eager to get back out and enjoy life.

I was nervous until I got the thread posted.
With the wet snow/sleet, I was worried we'd lose power before I got it done.
Many of the surrounding counties are without power this morning.
Yes! Come on spring!
Glad you got Comcast back on. Poor work crews.

Thanks for asking, Early Bird. Lots of people lost power, but luckily we didn’t. We dodged the bullet. Right now it’s 30 degrees, which is practically a heat wave! We still have a lot of snow but it’ll melt now that it’s warming up. We didn’t get out of the house for at least 5 days. My hubby finally had to yesterday to go to the dentist.
Also, one of our friends died...heart failure they believe...and he had to go see her family, since he’s an Elder in our church. Her death was a complete shock. He had just spoken to her the day before. :(

Yikes! It sounds like it was pretty bad up there last night. Glad you didn’t lose power.
Other than dealing with cold, we absolutely skated through this mess compared to many folks in TN. One of those rare times we appreciated being left out of precipitation. LOL We usually grumble about it.
Today’s our last cold day but at least the sun is out. Tomorrow we begin warming back up and we are READY!
