Cannot get more ignorant and stupid than AOC. Most of our problem is 25,0000 MW of wind turbines producing only operating at between 3-15% capacity utilization. Yes, there are other issues, but writing off 20,000 MW right off the top is not acceptable. You will see some silly lying statistics like only some small percent of wind turbines were offline and wind turbines produced more than expected! Both are lies. If 97% of wind turbines are “online” and 94% of wind turbines are producing 0 MW, they are useless. Exceeding expectations is great and easy if you expect 0 MW and get 1 MW, except when you need 25,000 MW.

Texas has done a lot to move to renewables and so called green energy. What is she saying? That because they haven’t yet done enough in that area, that’s why they have all these problems????
And how does she explain so much cold and ice so far south, when we are supposed to have global warming????
NY bimbo doesn’t see that in the pursuit of the green energy that there was not enough effort for the fallback fossil fuel side when the green side died. More like ‘green new fail’.
Wind power is only cheap because the companies adding it to their energy mix do not have to build the plant needed to make it reliable — that would be either huge battery banks (tens or hundreds of billions of dollars) or spinning reserve combustion turbines powered by natural gas. So the market economics are highly distorted and result in unreliable generators having not backup.
Greenies that say wind and solar are economically competitive are lying big time. They are “competitive” if you only have to install half of the plant needed to make them reliable.
