I know I’m not the first to suggest this, but what if DJT took over Rush’s show for the next couple years? Good idea? Bad idea? I tend to think the former.
“Eternal rest give him O Lord...”
Prayers UP for his family; he will be greatly missed!
Absolutely great idea, there should be a depends kiosk at the dem entrance to both the house and senate chambers in DC
I love Trump, but even he cannot fill Rush’s shoes. Nobody does. Rush was one of a kind.
I thought same thing. Even a 6 month commitment.
He has larger goals in sight. JMO.
As much as I like Trump, I don’t know that he’s got the keen edge that Rush had to be on-the-fly incisive, and the expansive vocabulary empowering him to well-command his analyses and opinions.
NOT that Trump wouldn’t be a decent fill-in on occasion; I just don’t know that his toolset equips him to be that “on” for three hours at a time.
Rush is gonna be like Johnny Carson — one immense pair of shoes to even begin to adequately fill.
Earth has lost it’s Lovable Fuzzball, and it’s just gonna HURT for awhile.
I think that is a real possibility. Keeps Trump in the public eye and with a built-in audience of 30 million plus, Trump could even improve upon that.
I'm sure you would see liberal boycotts of sponsors and some timid stations might even drop the program. But with a daily podcast option, listeners can get around that and still hear the show. Overall, I think that's a solid possibility and could have been discussed with Rush himself in recent weeks.
I think Bo Snerdly should do the show, at least temporarily and if he wants to. He had a weekly show on WABC when Rush was still in New York. No one knew Rush better and few loved him more.
Nobody can replace RUSH, he's irreplaceable. Whatever emerges will be much different.
Trump should invest in a media empire called “EIB.” We need our own MEDIA.
OMG talk about heads exploding. But that would be great.
Trump should buy the EIB network and it could be the start of a conservative media empire.
