Very general claim, and then the poster pukes up a meaningless insult. IMO, the post was not worth responding to.
I responded to your post because it made a more specific claim that so clearly showed how ignorance of the details of this specific situation has resulted in discrediting of conservatives. Meanwhile, AOC's inaccurate statements stand, not on their validity, but because those criticizing her have made themselves so easily discredited, and that's where the focus goes.
That is not quibbling, it is a HUGE problem in the conservative movement.
Now, I cited solid, in depth evidence from an apparently similar (but less severe) prior event in the same place (TX). You could at least look at it. If you have that quality of evidence to the contrary, present it & I'll be happy to reconsider.

Wind and solar have some inherent problems. Lack of wind, lack of sun, and a need for adaptation to freezing temperatures which was clearly demonstrated in this storm. Does that mean other forms of energy don’t also have problems no.

You can’t admit that you just pounced on my statement and ignored all the others of the same type. While my statement was not lengthy and did not include a lot of what I do know about the subject, it was no more ignorant than the others.

By the way I read all that stuff you posted. I stand by my original statement and the follow up post, where I already told you what I agreed with and what I did not.
We don’t agree on much apparently so just agree to shut up and I’ll do the same.
And people like you are why conservatism is in so much trouble, and problems do not get solved.
