I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
Rush got us through some bad times.
Remember the stings of being called things like ‘deplorables’ and worse? Rush would take in in stride and wear it as a badge of honor. He never let them get joy out of kicking us...
He’ll be be missed.
So sad. Just when we need him the most. RIP Rush. You contributed so much to this country.
Limbaugh singlehandedly saved AM talk radio in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. That very fact paved the way for national sports talk radio starting in the early 1990’s. Rest in peace. 🙏
I so hate the fallen nature of this world.
I’ve been listening his entire 33 years on air. Part of my everyday life, mind and thought processes. Leaves a big gaping hole and profound sorrow. RIP to a great, great man.
While we have lost our greatest champion, let us not lose sight that he inspired a generation of champions to come. They will stand on his shoulders to achieve even greater things, and that will be his legacy.
and he has been greeted by our Lord and Billy Graham,
WHO said...
“WHEN WE TAKE OUR LAST BREATH ON EARTH,
WE TAKE OUR FIRST BREATH IN HEAVEN”
(Thank you Rev. Graham, I'll remember that phrase for ever.)
A long time ago, a black conservative friend introduced me to Rush’s radio show. I could get it in most of my travels in N. California.
Locally, he was on the local conservative talk radio station and other conservatives. So when I was here, I could listen with no problem.
I had a few am stations up north that carried his show except for a few black hole areas.
Fortunately, many of the counties up north were and are still very conservative. So, a few AM stations carried his show live or recorded. The push buttons on my vehicles’s radios enabled me to find him most of the time.
His show was like Radio Free Europe for many of us living in the left wing bay area with left wing am stations, tv and newspapers.
He was a friend. God bless you, Rush.
I could not help myself, I looked at Twitter. Worse than I imagined. His name is not even one of the top 10 trending. No way that is authentic.
You are my younger son’s age! Your mom raised you right!
Love you Rush.

I will pray the LORD replaces Rush with 75 billion people just like him.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
“We the People” need to pay Rush the greatest honor and “step into the breach” for him .... 75 million plus.
[A breach is a gap in a wall or a gap in a line of defense through which the enemy may enter. The idea is that the person who steps into the breach puts himself between the item he is defending and disaster.]
I loved the environ-MENTAL updates that he did in his earlier years, in which he would play that heavy metal song featuring a chain saw.
R.I.P., Rush.
PING!
Dear Lord.. Heartbroken..This is too much loss. We Love you Rush🧸♥️🙏🇺🇸 Rest in Peace🕊
RIP
I did not always agree with him, but great respect for him for what he built.
He’ll be missed.
Listening to bluesy old Grateful Dead in the tub...somewhat snowed in
Something to counter the mood but appropriate ..
Birkenshaw show
This is a day we’ll all remember where we were
