America's Democrat party leftists are disconnected from reality. All leftists believe the fantasy that the government can manage the economy. However, America’s leftists also believe, to name three big examples, that sexes can magically switch places, that ending our criminal justice system reduces crime, and that a country can simultaneously sustain an open border and a welfare state. On a smaller delusional scale, Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed her disconnect from small business concerns, and the New York Times was horrified by “unfettered conversations.”
Jen Psaki, who serves as Joe Biden’s Press Secretary, is an excellent choice in many ways. She’s comfortable appearing uninformed and unintelligent before the media. She knows that they won’t call her out and apparently doesn’t care what the American people think. On Tuesday, she offered a perfect example of that latter point.
Psaki is hosting weekly video briefings during which she answers questions people have submitted via Twitter. At one minute and 21 seconds into the video below, Psaki reads out the question: “What is President Biden doing for my small business?”
By September 2020, nearly 100,000 small businesses had permanently closed across America. By November, just in New York and New Jersey, nearly one-third of all small businesses were gone. The lockdowns have decimated businesses in every Democrat-run state. Considering how important small businesses are to the economy, this is a deeply serious issue.
So what’s Psaki’s choice for the most important thing – the “first and foremost” thing – that Biden has done for small businesses? “He nominated a woman to lead the Small Business Administration”:

They are not mutually exclusive. The Left is the U.S. is both delusional and deliberate.
It is clear that they are intensely brainwashed...certainly by the media and academia. But, given the downright craziness of their views of reality, is there something more at work here?
Is there something in the water that affects only the Left? Have they been drugged into thinking they are in a parallel dimension?

Imagine a parent who disinherits a child he/she had previously been close to merely because they now perceived that child is evil due to his/her conservative political positions. They now believe the child is racist and hate-filled because he/she isn't Woke.

I think free speech both creates and is a remedy to the problem in our country.
Lefties that I know are getting sucked down into a fundamentally bad place where they hit an emotional overload that is brought on by unvetted assumptions sold under the guise of being what intelligent and successful people believe. There does not appear to be much examination of these “facts” so much as there is a rush to jump on the bandwagon. Reasoning gets short circuited when some sort of emotional critical mass is achieved and these guys end up a hissing spitting incoherent mess. Insults and loaded language end up being what passes for discourse, and their fuse gets shorter and shorter. I think some sort of branding from hell is involved. It may be that they derive some part of their identity from associating themselves with fashionable ideas, so that any attack on the ideas is an attack on themselves personally.
There is a sense that agreeing with what they say is the only thing that matters at all. There is no nuance, just all or nothing. That doesn’t come from a respect for other people, that comes from somewhere else that I suspect to be tied up with ego. Its like a brand, buy into this idea and you will be intelligent/hip/sexy/virtuous. Ask too many questions and you risk shattering the illusion of being intelligent/hip/sexy/virtuous for buying into the “right” ideas.
I think the thing that can save us is a shift to the middle and for both polarized factions to lose the platforms they have been monopolizing for far too long. That might sound like using distraction instead of confronting the problem, but is it distraction for the driver of a car to pay attention to the road instead of bickering passengers? No it is not, and that is where I believe we are.
Liberalism is a mental disease.
Lefturd loons are unable to or choose to not think. What is left is haze, daze, drift, ignorance, delusions, groupthink, emotionalism, whim worship, worship of big government, fantasies, mistakes, foolishness, evasion of reality, subjectivism, concrete-bound mentality, which leads to parasitism (looting & mooching)
Even worse, there are aid programs targeting some small businesses based on the owner’s race and/or gender.
In reality, they are simply replacing one middle class with another of their choosing. Those closed businesses often represent foreclosed homes and a decline in birthrate - getting younger people accustomed to the ideas that they will never own a private home or start a family.
The Democrat Party is an organized crime syndicate.
Understand that, and everything makes sense.
I have a lot of good friends who have been brainwashed. They aren't part of this crime syndicate.
A lot of gangsters wives told themselves that the money was clean, too.
And it has created a vast leadership vacuum of the sort that only someone like the AntiChrist can fill.
That said, there is enormous pressure now in academia, business, and elsewhere to appear "woke" or risk losing employment.
So, students support the Democrat Party because they want to pull turnips with their comrades at Turnip Commune #34?
