Freezing temperatures have paralyzed power generation plants, leading to rolling blackouts across the south-central part of the country and leaving millions without power.
Psaki informed the press that Biden’s Homeland Security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall spoke with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott over the weekend when he called to ask Biden to declare a federal emergency for the state to trigger federal support for storm victims.
Psaki said that Sherwood-Randall also called other governors — Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, and Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt.
“She expressed the president’s strong commitment to ensuring that the federal government proactively does everything it can to support state and local officials and preparing and responding to events that affect our citizens,” Psaki said.

I heard where he wanted to start his calls at the bottom of the list to even things out for the lower ranking states that had been passed by the Trump administration for so many years.
After days of research, he’s now waiting for an email back from obama on the name of the 57th state.

Maybe Biden will have his Global Warming Czar contact these governors.

Biden is not talking to anyone other than his healthcare staff.
Biden and the Dems are pushing his Green Initiative, which will pour billions of tax dollars into fancy renewable energy sources, and the weather is killing his windmills and solar panels outright. People are learning what happens when you rely on unreliable energy sources.
Meanwhile, He's banning oil exploration, fracking, and pipelines that distribute the forms of energy that actually work under these conditions.
As far as the WH is concerned, the blackouts never happened, as you will see when the bills are presented in congress.
It's flyover country, after all, and they deserve it for voting for Trump. It's all going down the memory hole - Joe has forgotten it already.
15 dead, millions without power, thousands at risk of freezing, communications and transportation degraded, large economic impact. Big deal. Not my job. If China is impacted, call me immediately.
