Mitch McConnell made a subtle dig at Donald Trump as he branded Republicans' losses in the Georgia Senate runoff election a 'fiasco'.
The Republican alluded to the former president's baseless claims of voter fraud which tainted much of the lead-up to the crucial votes and is thought to have helped suppress GOP votes.
Trump's refusal to concede split the party ahead of the runoff which resulted in the Republicans losing their Senate majority.

What? McConnell picked both Purdue and What’s her name.
The Turtle is talking out of both sides of his shell.
Correction, he wants the GOPe to win else he will throw it to the Dems...

Mitch seems to be worried about something. Has he been loafing all these years, but now he’s going to really start trying?
the CCP are not forgiving masters
The GOP machine had two months — did jack.
>> worried about something
He’s been behaving erratically for a few months now. His public dialog with Trump is quite strange.
Except Mitch supported Loeffler, who lost.
And he supported McSally, who lost in 2018, so Mitch convinced Ducey to appoint her, so she could lose again.
Mitch doesn’t want to win anything. He’s got his plum position. Safely reelected.
His goal is, as always, to prevent REAL conservatives from getting into HIS US Senate. They’re so icky and cause too many problems.
How old is Mitch? He shouldn’t be trashing Trump. He’s done.
Deep state has spoken........
“...baseless claims...” I don’t trust any reporting that uses that phrase relative to the 2020 election.
Rove and McConnell were fully involved in the runoff. They did nothing about the rules, procedures, machines, and personnel that stole the election for Biden. Doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
Hey, Mitch ... those were both YOUR candidates who lost in the Georgia runoffs.
Failure is ALWAYS an option for the GOP Establishment.
Got to keep things “even” and “fair”, you know. Much more genteel and nicer than bloody knife fights.
KMA, MM
Enough of that backstabbing bastard. Come on, KY. He’s been there for far too long. Anyone that’s been in Congress that long is part of the problem.
Agree. Mitch is worried AND scared.
What is Mitch so scared of?
Could it be 80 million Trump voters.
Go f* yourself Mitch. I hope the Dems obliterate you and the rest of the GOPe.
The GOP always talk tough when they’re out of power!
So glad I recently left the Republican Party! I’m done being a “team player” and grabbing my ankles! No more!
