Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico could make one major policy change, that would have a profound, immediate effect on national policy. It would be far more effective than a lawsuit winding through the courts and awaiting a sympathetic judge’s ruling. The statute governments should institute a policy, initially by executive order, then endorsed and reinforced by legislative action, that anyone who crosses the border from Mexico must be hustled onto a bus that, when full, is driven directly to Washington, D.C., emptied, and returned to the border for more passengers.*
We’ve seen that, for our federal political class, what stays distant from D.C. (such as riots, vandalism, violence, and hordes of drug-addled homeless occupying a city) is not a big deal. Instead, we're told the societal breakdown we see is mostly peaceful, normal expressions of “protest.” But bring an “insurrection” close to the home of our elected leaders, and all hell breaks loose.
During the January 6th breach of the Capitol, nobody burned the building, trashed its contents, or stole the art off the walls, but our public flower children of politics got spooked, and now we have an armed military and razor wire guarding them. Moreover, these protections are apparently there to stay until the cows come home, optics be damned.
Imagine our senators’ and House members’ chagrin if, after a day of mindlessly undoing every accomplishment Trump achieved, as much to spite him as for policy reasons, they had to wade through teeming hordes of Guatemalan and Honduran refugee families whenever they left their sacrosanct lair. These people are penniless, uneducated, homeless, and carrying who-knows-what diseases, most likely along with plenty of COVID.

Ow, ow, ow I know. Petee the sectrans is talking high-speed rail so let’s have a direct run to d.c. from the border. Choochoo! 🚂
I like it.....
Dump them around the Capitol and in the neighborhoods where the Senators and Congresscritters live...
Yes - full in favor of processing all immigrants in DC
Yep. Where is Willie Green now that we need him?
When I was at the Pentagon, I used to live off of Columbia Pike in Arlington. This was the early 90s.
The place was crawling with Latinos. I even watched some cooking a goat outside on a spit in a public park.
There was a nice trout stream called 4 Mile Run that the state released nice foot long
Rainbows into; I caught a group of Central Americans using gill nets to pull them out. Called the cops, don’t know what happened.
Anyway, I think the Elites will love it. They’ll be happy to have so many new nannies, maids, cooks, roofers, gardeners, and other inferiors to choose from.
He took the last train for the coast...
“Where is Willie Green now that we need him?”
Now there’s a blast from the past!
Congress critters don’t give a damn about DC, they exist in a bubble. Instead, move illegals as close as possible to where their families live. Set up temporary housing in their hometowns.
like it’s really gonna happen
In the 50s and 60s bus loads of welfare dependant people from Southern States would arrive at New York City’s Port Authority bus terminal every Saturday. The Demorat/communists would just register them as their new voters put them in a public housing project and raise taxes to pay for their new voters.
But busses would be risky. Too many fuel stops along the way. Put them in chartered planes and drop them off at Washington National with a subway card and directions to the Capitol and wire cutters.
Some of us, including me, have said this since 2014 or 2015 when obozo was dropping kids off in various cities without telling mayors they were on the way. Take them straighg to pelosi’s dc mansion, biden’s place, schumer’s digs, you getcthe picture. They all have a place to live in both dc and their home state. Drop them at BOTH. Drop them off and point. Esta casa...or is it casa esta?...los casa? I never got that far in mexispeak.
Bus the illegals directly to DC.
Drop’em off at Union Station.
Give’em a map of the city; tell’em they can sign up for benefits at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Can we do it?
Sí se puede.
