Walter Cruz-Zavala spends his days lifting weights, reading and drawing. All behind bars.
The 30-year-old Salvadoran refugee has done the same thing every day for more than 3.5 years from a cell in a detention facility that a federal judge recently called "appalling."

Three were misdemeanors. Two were felonies. In 2015, his brother fractured his wrist while he was driving, fell asleep and hit a pole driving home from San Bernardino County on Christmas Eve. Another time, he got drunk and fired off a gun, injuring his own knee.
Came here illegally, joined MS-13, got MS-13 tattoo, 5 drunk driving arrests two of which were felonies, illegal gun possession, shot himself with illegal gun. Send him the hell back home! The job of government is to protect US citizens from scum like this

no matter the cost or consequences.
Nail on the head brother. The consequences usually turn out to be someone’s family hit head-on when he misses the next light pole or when someone else gets shot accidently when the illegal moron misses his own kneecap next time.
We should stop paying his free room and board and boot his felonious ass back to Mexico.
Send him back to El Salvador, we have enough drunk driver criminals of our own.
This issue shows how little our government cares about its own citizens. Also, when illegals were to be covered by ObamaCare in part with cuts to Medicare, it couldn’t have been more clear.
