In recent months, the hatred of Fox News from the left has been almost matched by trending memes – from the right! Examples include (to paraphrase) “Fox News has turned left.” “Fox News is being run by Disney.” “The woke wives of the Murdoch sons are running Fox.” “RINO Paul Ryan is running Fox News from his seat on the company’s board of directors.” And so on.
All of that is false. Total BS. How do I know? Unlike most of the new anti-Fox critics, I actually watch the Fox News Channel (FNC). I take notes. I have monitored the channel closely since its inception 24½ years ago. And I have the tapes and digital recordings of Fox News going back to year one – thousands of hours’ worth – to prove it.
This fake “Fox News has moved left” meme started about three years ago. I addressed it in several articles at American Thinker in 2019, including here and here. On February 12, 2021, Fox News – past, present, and future – was the topic of my discussion with Front Page Magazine editor Jamie Glazov on his video program The Glazov Gang.
The fact is that Fox News has never been more conservative than it is right now. In the past, Fox News featured a variety of leftists and non-conservatives on its prime-time schedule. For two decades, Bill O’Reilly ruled the roost at 8 PM ET. He claimed he is not a conservative – instead, he described himself as a “no spin guy” who complimented Barack Obama for being “a stand-up guy.” Also in prime time on the channel starting in 1999 was Paula Zahn, who joined Fox after a stint at CBS News. She went on to host a program at CNN after she left Fox.

Well goody goody gum drops Fox News is like the Republican party sometimes they are on your side but there are other times when they should be but they’re not
I have no use for either
I thought Mitch wrote this!
All I know is that on Election Night, the Fox News decision desk called Arizona for Biden immediately after the polls closed without a single precinct reporting and refused to call Florida for Trump for hours with a half a million vote lead with only the very Red Panhandle left to count. Fox’s call on Arizona gave legitimacy to this stolen election.
I watched Tucker criticize Disney and wondered how he could do it now that they own 21st Century Fox. But Fux news is a stand alone entity.
This is like an employee walking into your office to point out how honest they are and how they never steal. This simpleton makes the mistake of confusing Republican for conservative.
Surely, you can’t be series.
Who cares.
The gaslighting continues, but it won’t save the left-lurching network. Now it’s just another money-losing public relations organ for some woke corporations, only now they are no different than ABCNBCCBSMSNBCCNN and getting lost in that pool of mediocrity.
FWIW, Disney now owns Fox MOVIE studio. That’s it. The rest of the Murdoch media empire still exists, which includes Fox News and Fox Business Network, Fox Sports, Wall St Journal, NY Post and a variety of other media properties around the globe.
You take notes???? Now that is...dedication?
You are exactly right. I watched Fox local in Broward county. Disgusting. The Florida results were in at 8:30pm.
blah blah blah. Shut up and go cash your check.
Who?
Ok who had the best coverage yesterday? I watched all of conservative channels on Pluto and found that NEWSMAX had the best panels over BLAZE and America’s Voice and OAN. I really like WAR ROOM on AN when it is on.
They are more "right-leaning" than ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBCNN.
So there's that.
Also, the other's don't have an equivalent to Maria B or Greg G, Tucker or Mark Steyn.
And then there's the ones who are slightly to the right of Mittens, like Dana P and Brett B.
This is the problem...
The GOP elitists actually believe they’re conservative. They’ve got no concept of self awareness. All they see is their reflection in the mirror, the echos within their chamber, and the faux-idolatry of their media overlords.
I’ll grant that there might be a few hosts on Faux News that would not be welcome at CNN or MSNBC but if you just read the carp that scrolls across the bottom of the screen, you can’t tell if you’re watching FNC, CNN, MSNBC, or RT.
Much depends on how an analyst weights what he measures. Christ Wallace’s recent performances and Fox’s minimizing of election stealing have outweighed much of what still remains conservative on Fox. Fortunately, we don’t have to click on leftists when we use Fox on the web.
After Trump’s defense spoke you had B Baier say if the charge had been that Trump failed to save the Capitol “we would be in a different place”. Which was total nonsense.
Then Chris Wallace went on for 10 minutes that the defense argument was “silly” and that Trump’s lawyers shouldn’t have antagonized the Democrat senators. Even though there was no way on earth any Democrat was voting to acquit.
