Yeah but, all the bank has to do is look at the property value listed in the NYC records and see if Trump was telling the truth. Properties in NYC are way over assessed and taxed.
My Ex BIL was a Commercial Real Estate Leasing guy and he Developed a few Projects.
Getting Funding from ‘traditional” sources to build was like pulling teeth.
Now the question is, why are they singling out Donald Trump when there are dozens of large scale Developers in NYC? Are his Competitors as clean as the wind driven snow?
We all know the answer and the reasoning for this Witch Hunt and it has nothing to do with the Law.

$850 million dollars of U.S. taxpayer money is missing and New York Mayor Bill De Blasio’s wife, who oversees the city’s “Thrive” program where the money was supposed to go, cannot account for the massive sum.
De Blasio’s wife, kept very little records in the Thrive program to track spending or accomplishments.
This lack of oversight has made it close to impossible to find where the hundreds of millions of dollars went and if the program, that was supposed to aid people with mental health problems, was even successful.
So where is the $850 million dollars? According to reports, Chirlane McCray cannot account for the massive sum of money that her husband allocated to her for Thrive.
The program has been active for three years with a lack of adequate records and the little records they do have only show how far behind target the program is running.
The program was even approved for a very large budget of $1 billion dollars for the next 5 years.
ThriveNYC was designed to target low-income people who cannot afford mental healthcare.
It also focuses on African-American, Latino and Veteran communities who are less likely to seek help for mental illness.
The City Hall budget shows $594 million in spending since ThriveNYC’s inception. The IBO budget shows $816 million.
Both City Hall and IBO suspect the Office of Management and Budget included fewer programs in the City Hall version, accounting for the difference.
But the budget discrepancies illustrate the difficulty in tracking Thrive.

They looked at all that before. Also, Trump had a Casino
license. Think they didn’t take a good luck at his
finances.
Being innocent is almost irrelevant.
Federal tax and banking regulations are so complex and contradictory that if a prosecutor wants to find a violation, he can look at almost any transaction and find one.
Usually what they do is set a perjury trap, so that they don’t have to actually try their outlandish violation claims, but those penalties are still severe.
They are looking for a Felony charge to pin on him. Only a Felony conviction can prevent Trump from running from office now.
Crime is off the charts in NYC and the DA’s offices both at the city and state levels have nothing better to do with their time than investigate Trump stuff. Does anyone else see why NYC and NY are on the skids heading south at a headlong rate?
When valuing a property the concept of “blue sky” is often used to increase it’s value using metrics other than income produced, sq footage and the like.
As an example an office building on 55th Ave in NYC compared to an exactly similar one in Staten Island would be be vastly dissimilar.
When applying for a loan businesses will always use the highest valuation of assets. This is done every day in the same way when protesting property taxes the company will argue using the lowest evaluation they can legitimately back.
In the end it is up to the lender to do the job of verifying the truest value of the assets.
so....how many years of investigating Trump are NY’ers going to pony up for at the expense of infrastructure and social program funding? Just so one attorney can try to make a reputation for himself, that noone will remember when he’s gone?

Commercial appraisals use three methods to value a property. Cost, Replacement, and Income. Given the damage that Cuomo and DiBlasio have done to New York City, an income approach now won’t come up to the original values. Not Trumps problem.
Plenty darn hard to do months or years later....
IF there is ANYONE in the USA I would loan $$$ to—it is Trump.
