Dr. Derek Heard with Phoebe said only around 5,000 Black people in Albany have received the vaccine. African-Americans make up almost 75 percent of the roughly 74,000 people who live in Albany. Heard said he knows there’s some hesitancy from past medical experimentation like the Tuskegee Experiment. Heard said he understands the fear but added things have changed. The vaccine, Heard pointed out, has been tested and deemed safe.
Oh...just mandate it for blacks...and see how that goes over.....cuz that’s what they’re saying.

The article, as excerpted, does not demonstrate a racial disparity. For that, we would need to know the numbers or percentages of non-blacks getting vaccinated in Albany.
For all we know, maybe no white person has been vaccinated?!
I have read that the only one that is not mRNA is the Novavax.
The only way I’d even consider any of these vaccines would be non mRNA. I’m not going to modify how my body’s cells replicate, thanks.

I’ve heard reports from other FReepers and other sites that if you really want to get the shot, sign up in a predominantly black area. However, places like Prince Georges County in Maryland are wise to this tactic and have restricted access to the vaccine at its health centers to county residents only.

Many blacks are distrustful of science and doctors. They think everything is a conspiracy to get them. That is why they won’t get the vaccine.
No the J&J vac is supposed to based on normal flu vaccines. No refrigeration needed and 1 jab. I can wait.
