Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt is resigning from the group's board amid a series of scandals that has rocked the high-dollar anti-Trump super PAC, Axios has learned.
Why it matters: Schmidt, a veteran Republican operative, is the latest and most high-profile departure from the group, which is reeling from revelations that another co-founder, John Weaver, used offers of professional advancement in a series of attempts to solicit sex from young men.
He looks like he entertains little boys, my gaydar sense is strong with this one.

And here I thought the homosexual predator was the biggest scandal in their organization. Not their biggest problem though. The Lincoln Project was founded with a singular goal: to get Donald Trump out of the White House. They have now become a victim of their own success.

Steve Schmidt’s claim to fame was running the campaign of a the willing Designated Loser, John McCain.
It’s not that hard to run an intentionally losing campaign.

The New York Times reported last month on allegations from 21 men that Weaver sent them unsolicited and sexually charged messages. One was 14 years old at the time, according to the report.
Multiple people have reportedly been contacted by federal law enforcement regarding the alleged conduct. The Lincoln Project said it has hired an external law firm to conduct an investigation into the matter. (My bolding.)
Looks like Weaver is about to get the Weiner treatment, at least one of his victims having been only 14. Given how blatant a queer he was, my guess is his computer is loaded with male kiddie porn, a great ticket to a long term residence at Government expense.
