Trump showed the way to increase votes for the GOP and these greedy hypocrites are too beholden to corporate donors to give a damn. They all wanted a big tent until it elected Trump on them.
The GOPe is like the pilot and flight crew high fiving each other while the whole back of the plane is gone.

GOPe will have to go with Plan B as Haley ain’t going to make it. Pompeo will be a strong threat by them.
Missing President Trump more ever day.
Nikki Haley’s ‘please clap’ moment. Her political career is done. Not even voter fraud can save her. She basically said we should have picked Jeb over Trump 4 years ago.
The reason that the GOP leaders separated from its base was due to nothing other than MONEY.
The people primarily funding the GOP had objectives which conflicted with the base (cheap, imported, labor, free trade, access to China’s huge market*, etc.). For some stuff the Big Money didn’t care, like guns and abortion.
This pushed the GOP to make a choice - side with the base and have relatively little money for the party, or side with the Big Money and try to keep the base along by handing out bread crumbs to the base, but slowly implementing what the big money wanted.
The problem was that the split grew larger and larger, and pretty much peaked with Bush trying to slam an Amnesty through.
So now, the big question for Trump’s base is whether they’re ready to open their wallets, as money is still needed in politics. And the thing is, Trump’s base has more than enough money to fund any new party...but do they understand the need, and will they make the sacrifice? It’s easy to ‘donate’ many thousands, when you have more money than even your kids will ever burn - but will people like us be willing to give the new party, say, an average of $100/person, per year. If so, the new party will have more money than they know what to do with. If not...just one more step in our side being crushed.
*dingbats never realized that China has no plans to give us access.

Southerners don’t care for Haley since she dissed the Confederate flag when she was SC governor. I doubt she’d be re-elected in SC today.
