The Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump may have the reverse effect, said his son Donald Trump Jr.., claiming that House Democrats’ tone may turn people away.
“It’s vindictive; they are trying to tar and feather someone after the fact. And it’s only making Trump more powerful because people are starting to see how ridiculous it is,” he said, reported the Washington Examiner on Thursday.
The former president has not issued a public comment about the matter as he is banned from most social media platforms and has instead used his attorneys.
The impeachment trial is expected to last until the end of the weekend. Some GOP senators have predicted that it will be finished by Sunday. What’s more, it’s unlikely that the trial will net a conviction as the Senate requires 67 votes to convict a president.
House Democrats, however, have been able to generate media attention by showing newly released, edited video footage of the Capitol riots. They impeached Trump last month for allegedly inciting violence at the Capitol during the Joint Session of Congress to certify the election on Jan. 6.
Trump Jr. suggested that as Democrats continue to criticize and make accusations against Trump, they could face blowback for not sticking to an agenda to help Americans.
“We’re in the midst of a pandemic, and hundreds of thousands of people are dying, and the Senate has nothing better to do than to spend a week trying to critique the First Amendment,” said the younger Trump to the Examiner.

And when this shampeachment is over, Trump should stand up for the supporters in DC on January 6 that did nothing wrong. If he makes no effort to defend them from being branded as Domestic Terrorists and Insurrectionists, he is a fake!

Indeed. As we 75+ MILLION President Trump voters watch the Banana Republic Witch Hunt continue in Congress we get more and more furious and determined by the minute to gird our loins and prepare for the next political battle.
First on our list are not dems. They are a very close second. First are GOPe Bush types. They must go. Sending them packing is right now the number one goal needed to send the Republican Party the message that we are here to stay.
So the plan is to run Trump in 2024? At what.. 78? Sorry. I won’t be onboard.

It’s bad enough that PDJT is not currently serving is rightful second term in the White House.
We simply cannot let this injustice stand—and see it through to have our legitimate Commander-in-Chief run and officially WIN next time.
It will be schadenfreude to watch the beautiful Trump First Family dislodge the present occupying Biteme crime syndicate, upon which our Republic will be resurrected.
There will be unbridled celebration and America First will once more be the law of the land.
Giving credit where’s it due, I would suggest Florida Governor Ron DeSantis or Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene as PDJT’s new Veep. Doubt either would ever be exposed as a total hypocrite like Pence.
President Trump may be a tad older than you-know-who in the next cycle, but his dynamic energy, stamina and unparalleled charisma should still carry him to victory!!
