On Wednesday night, Senator Lindsey Graham told Sean Hannity that the “not guilty” vote grew on Wednesday after the House Impeachment Managers put on an “absurd” presentation.
This is obviously terrible news for Democrats.
“Let me tell your viewers, the not guilty vote is growing after today. I think most Republicans found the presentation by the House managers offensive and absurd. We all know what happened at the Capitol was terrible,” he said.
“But I don’t remember any of these House managers saying a damn thing when they were trying to break into my house and going after Susan Collins and spitting on all of us,” he added.

Throughout the entire impeachment proceedings, the only “evidence” that Democrats have is HEAVILY-EDITED video clips that play to their narrative. They have chopped up hours of clips and spliced them together in the perfect sequence to make them look as damning as possible.
Thankfully, according to Graham, Trump’s acquittal is becoming more and more likely by the day.

As I see it now, the vote will be 56 to 44 Trump Guilty.
ALL Democrats will vote guilty and 6 Republicans will vote guilty. Of course this will not be enough to convict Trump, but that’s how I read the situation as it unfolds.
The 6 traitors in the GOP will be: Ben Sasse ( Who hates Trump’s guts ), Bill Cassidy ( a surprise ), Mitt Romney ( not surprised anymore, I full expected this after the first sham impeachment ), Susan Collins ( just recently elected, so she can reveal her liberal nature ), Lisa Murkowski ( who was considering renouncing her GOP Party affiliation ), and Pat Toomey ( who hates Trump and isn’t running for re-election ).
I expect it will be between 54 and 56 votes for guilty, perhaps with some moron distancing himself from Trump by saying the trial was constitutional but the charges were not proven.
There also was a list of vulnerable democrats released.
Didn’t 45 GOP senators already go on record as saying the impeachment is unconstitutional? That being the case, how would it be possible for any of them to vote to convict without being branded as total hypocrites? Now, I’m not very good at math, but if there are only 100 senators and 45 are not off the table, there is no way to 68. What am I missing here?
IMHO, since the entire proceeding is a farce and not even a constitutional impeachment EVERY R Senator should refuse to vote.

No treasonous republicans will be swayed by the quality or lack thereof of the House presentation.
It’s a political battle and not a zero sum game. Dems fight every day while the doormat GOP Senators sit there and let them make pinatas out of President Trump and 75 million GOP voters.

China Mitch punted impeachment to give faux support from the GOP for President Trump when he is out of office and can’t benefit politically. The GOP want to put their certification of the stolen election far in the rear view mirror and are using impeachment to do it. I’ve never thought the GOP were going to convict. The nonsense about McConnell being undecided is pure gaslighting beltway theater.
