The San Francisco Unified School District's Board of Education has recently been criticized for several decisions, including possibly renaming 44 schools and voting to do away with the merit-based admissions system at Lowell High School.
The board made its latest controversial decision on Tuesday night, when it rejected a parent volunteer who was supposed to be appointed to the Parent Advisory Council.
The reason: his race. Seth Brenzel is a white, gay man.
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) tried to defend its selection of Brenzel as a possible new member during Tuesday's school board meeting.
The PAC advises the board on issues that affect students and parents.
Here's the current ethnic makeup of the PAC:
Three Latinas Three white women Two African Americans One Asian American One Pacific Islander
All current members of the PAC are women. Brenzel would have been the only man, and he happens to be white.
School Board Commissioner Alison Collins was adamant that the PAC needed to be more racially diverse.

Asians are also vastly underrepresented vs the actual makeup of the student body btw. That is, besides all males.
White people may be a bit overrepresented.
Racially diverse, but still all women. White male not accepted even if queer. When do we get to stomp the left into oblivion?
Sorry, you are too white....
‘other ‘voices need to be heard first before white queer voices’.
Commissioner Matt Alexander - who described himself as the lone white board member - had said that it seemed ‘like the white members are over-represented on the P.A.C.’ and that there was an under-representation of ‘Arab, Vietnamese, Native American folks’.
Identity politics.
Who is on top?
You voted for this sh!t
The Left only destroys
The gays and the woke ethnic tribes in San Francisco are at each other’s throats? Let ‘em.
Frankly, I don’t see as to how I have a dog in this fight.
MERIT is the new evil.
People can pretend this is some wacky SF thing or a battle between minority groups, but this is going on in businesses and government offices all over the country. I guarantee that somewhere near you “diversity” is being used as justification to discriminate against whites. White skin is the ultimate sin.
Affirmative action: the perpetual systemic racism.
Under socialism, there can be no excellence. First we identify the bottom of the barrel and demand that everyone head for there in the name of equality. It’s much easier that way, and socialists are nothing if not totally slothful mentally and ideologically.
“overrepresented;” “underrepresented.” How about looking at them as individual human beings?
There is no white skin. No human passes the white tissue test. There is no pure black in nature. All humans are one shade or another of brown...except for albinos, who are pink.
” can’t imagine anything more counterproductive to walk around counting heads to make sure there was proper “diversity”. These people are insane.”
And then excluding 50% of the population from their “ diverse” group.
“Three Latinas Three white women Two African Americans One Asian American One Pacific Islander
All current members of the PAC are women.”
We have reached the level of insanity in this country that must be making President Xi rub his hands in glee.
That has become impossible in this place and time.

The schoolboard fails.
I understand your point, and to be clear, I am not one of those white pride types, but it’s not the way the Left sees it.
Blacks win! Blacks 1, Queers 0.
