Senate Republicans should offer to convict Donald Trump in return for Democrats agreeing to fund the wall.
Trump is not going to run again anyway. In four years, he will be as viable a presidential candidate as Hillary was in 2020.

Give the democrats what they want (a conviction) in exchange for a promise to build the wall?

While Trump shouldn’t be the sacrificial lamb, even if the Democrats “agreed” - they also agreed to build the wall in order to get Reagan to offer amnesty to the illegals in the ‘80’s. Build the wall first before they get anything in return, they simply lie.

Well, when the Republican’s get their chance they need to ask him on the record if he filed a witness statement or affidavit with the Capitol Police - because he claimed to have seen this himself. If he says no - they should ask him if he is willing to sign an affidavit made up from his own comments to the Senate yesterday. When he says
no” to that, you know he is lying.
