The NBA is requiring that all teams play the national anthem before games "in keeping with longstanding league policy," just one day after Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told The Athletic the team decided not to play it at home games.
NBA Chief Communications Officer Mike Bass released a statement on Wednesday, just a day after Cuban said he had no plans to play the national anthem at any future home games.
Fox Bet "With NBA teams now in the process of welcoming back fans into their arenas, all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy," Bass said.

Watching others play? No way, unless it was my child; or now, grandchild.
Gotta give their negroes a chance to protest.
Radio story said they had dropped the anthem “because it made people uneasy and resentful.” Why? Are they that openly anti-American? (Yes).
Hockey players going to Canada are respectful of others singing “O, Canada” even if they themselves grew up in Brooklyn.
Then why do any good people support these anti-American sports teams?
I do like college BBall a lot. So that is a qualifier.

Actually, I would prefer that the NBA steer clear of our National Anthem. They are beholden to the ChiComs. Let them take their worthless league over there. We will get along just fine without them.

Wait, so they are saying the world of leftists that inhabit the ESPN Facebook and Twitter pages aren’t a representation of what the majority of Americans believe? I’m shocked, shocked they tell you.
I went to several University graduations some years ago. They always began with the Anthem. It sort of appalled me that so many of the parents in the audience would stand up (because they were directed to do so) but didn’t put their hands over their hearts.
After I observed these people and thought about it, I realized that rather than resentment, most probably didn’t KNOW to do it. Largely, they just looked perplexed.
When I began in school (1959), we said the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge every morning; and most of us had some sort of religious exposure on Saturdays or Sundays.
Now, they don’t seem to even teach American history, the Founding, or civics in public schools. The kids learn nothing of principle, logic, idealism; and far fewer follow any religious tradition today. All of this seems to have been the case for many members of the last two generations.
(Any questions as to why we now have a Congress that seems to have largely lost its mind?)
