After six months of debate over the George Washington bust, which currently sits in the Watsonville City Plaza, council members voted Tuesday evening that the statue be moved to Watsonville Public Library. In addition, a bilingual plaque will be added to the statue, that outlines Washington’s history.

Watsonville is the small central California coast city I live in. Very multi cultural history of Italians, Slovenians, Japanese, Okies and everyone else. Now it is 80% Mexican immigrant. Washington has to go but the Aztec dancers can perform at the local public schools

They are colonists.
They brought their culture with them. They refuse to assimilate. They demand the local culture cease and be replaced with theirs, their language, and their customs.

The destruction of our heritage and culture is bipartisan. Six months ago, Republican senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) proposed replacing Columbus Day with Juneteenth Day as a way to commemorate the ending of slavery.
