The Senate begins its impeachment trial of former President Trump this week, but most voters don’t believe Trump will be convicted and few expect to watch the entire trial on TV.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 11% of Likely U.S. Voters think it is very likely the Senate will convict Trump of “high crimes and misdemeanors.” Another 20% say conviction is somewhat likely. Twenty-eight percent (28%) think it’s not very likely the Senate will convict Trump and 36% say conviction is not likely at all. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The House voted last month to impeach then-President Trump on charges that he incited his supporters to riot at the Capitol on January 6. The Constitution requires a two-thirds vote in the Senate for conviction.
Only 15% of voters say they’ll watch the entire Senate impeachment trial on TV, and 21% expect to watch most of it. Thirty percent (30%) say they’ll watch some of Trump’s trial, but 32% won’t watch any of it.
The survey of 1,000 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on February 4 and 7, 2021 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
Democrats are more likely than Republicans to expect the Senate to convict Trump of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” but even among Democrats, a majority are doubtful of conviction. Only 14% of Democrats say it’s very likely Trump will be convicted, and another 28% say a Senate conviction vote is somewhat likely. Fifty-two percent (53%) of Democrats say Trump’s conviction is either not very likely or not likely at all, a view shared by 72% of Republicans

So, with President Trump unable to “stir the pot” with his public Twitter announcements, the very idea of his impeachment faded from view, until people were not expecting anything to come of the trial beyond some political grand-standing and a further division among Americans.
Voters feel cheated.

1) Call out Harris for not being a Natural Born Citizen as defined in Sen. Resolution 511 (2008). Neither of her parents were ‘... American citizen parents’ at her birth. Do so by asking for the names of her American citizen parents, as noticed in the Resolution.
2) If they still want to impeach someone, call out Obama for not being a Natural Born Citizen and remove the 44th President from history by impeachment.
3) Then suggest they impeach Joe Biden for election fraud for accepting an unqualified VP as running mate. Then they can impeach every Senator who voted to confirm Harris or Obama on election fraud grounds.
4) Have the FEC de-certify the Democrat National Committee as an on-going criminal enterprise for proposing unqualified candidates in past elections. Overnite all the (D)s become (I)s.
5) Challenge the seats of all members of Congress who voted to certify Gropin’ Joe and Kamalatoes and remove the ones elected in fraud-ridden elections.
6) After the trial, put up a ‘Help Wanted’ with the thought of firing and replacing 2/3 of all non-military federal workers. That would include the entire FBI, DOJ, and the arrest of all CIA operatives found stateside.

Look for this part:
“And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, Also, children of citizens born beyond sea, &c. or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens: Provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States”
That seems to be a painfully clear definition of what was meant by “Natural Born Citizen” to me; that regardless of location of birth, American kids belong to their parents. Just as foreign kids belong to their parents regardless of location of birth.

You can't impeach someone who is already out of office.

Wait a second. IPSO/ABC did one the other day saying that 52% favored conviction. What has happened in that short time? Has more evidence been discovered? Who is the star witness?
Like EVERYTHING they do, the Left/Democrats/Media, make a mockery of EVERYTHING and are NEVER held accountable. Nor do they have any shame about what they do or say.
Don't think so. They can have their committee assignments taken away but only the voters can remove them.
Nothing but a complete sham anyway. The Senate has no constitutional basis for trying a private citizen. He can’t be tried. He can’t be convicted. The Chief Justice isn’t even involved. There’s nothing in the US Constitution authorizing this fiasco.
If they did “convict”, the Supreme Court would have no choice but to invalidate the whole thing if it ever went to court.

“shall be considered as” means they are not natural born citizens.
They later repealed that after realizing their mistake.
