Right now 2/3rds of schools are conducting classes more than once a week. Voila, plan met, 100 days ahead of schedule!

Note to parents: If you get WuFlu money for each child, use it to get your kids out of publik skrewls. If you haven’t done so already.

22,000 folks at the Super Bowl. And they said as far as Covid...it was a success.

Name one grammar school that has 22,000 students.

Here in Texas I do some substitute teaching with the Elementary kids, only in-person. We’ve been in person since October. There have been challenges, occasional need to quarantine a teacher or class. With the added workload of both virtual and in person for some teachers I fear some of them will burn out. But what a joy to see the kids out at recess running and playing their games. What a joy to stand with them in the morning to say the pledge to the American and Texas flag. The district is making it a priority to get the teacher’s vaccinated, not mandatory.

What a lofty goal. All 3 of my kids are back in school full time 5 days a week.

Biden’s handlers are going to set the bar so low they can’t help but trip over it.

It may be a plan, but it’s hardly a lofty goal. Given that a real goal would be 100%, all the schools, all the time. Half the schools 1 day a week is 10% of that. We’re there right now if biden would simply include parochial and private schools in his total. Excluding them, we will remain at zero, the teacher’s union goal.

During my grade school years, we stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sat down and recited the Lord’s prayer.

Later, in HS, it was just the Pledge.

Yes, it was many, many moons ago...and how we need that culture to return.

All of them around here have been in person since the start of the school year. Unless the school buses are driving around with card board cutouts.
