All for show. Will not happen.
Prelude to the coming civil war?
That’s the only way to get out of this...the states have got to fight the Dem rule by diktat and the blatant unconstitutionality of these “orders,” which interfere with the prerogatives of the states.
I think it’s going to happen. There is pushback on the Keystone cancellation, and I think you’ll see more on other “orders” as they become known. I’m hoping there will be state pushback on this stupid masking on public transit order, which is way beyond Biden’s competence and interferes with interstate commerce.
With all due respect to state Rep. Tom Kading, please consider the following.
The basic litmus test that local and state governments need to wake up to and apply to every action, law and domestic spending by the federal government is this. If any action, particularly federal domestic spending, is not reasonably related to the US Mail Service then the action is probably unconstitutional and take the feds to court to put a stop to the fed's action.
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Next, patriots have got to start following THEIR money in the following way. Patriots need to identify deferred maintenance in their communities, building new K-12 buildings for example.
The key to paying for new K-12 buildings is this. Patriots need to pressure local and state government leaders that if they don’t put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that corrupt Congress cannot justify under the very limited powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the feds, taxes that are rightfully at the disposal of local communities to pay for new school buildings, then patriots will keep recalling and replacing local and state leaders until they find somebody who will stand up to the unconstitutionally big federal for them.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
”[…] the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added].” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)
"It is one of the happy incidents of the federal system that a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose [emphasis added], serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country.” —Justice Brandeis, Laboratories of democracy.
In fact, noting that the product of a constitutional convention is not a new amendment to the Constitution as many patriots seem to think, us despicables need to demand that local and state government leaders prove their worth by calling a constitutional convention to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments ASAP.
Community schools
Repaired roads, new roads
More funding for police and fire departments
Scholarships for students attending intrastate schools etc.
As a side note to recall elections mentioned above, patriots first need to work with state lawmakers to amend respective state constitutions to require people planning to run for state and local offices to escrow a refundable "recall deposit" before becoming a candidate for any office. The deposit will fully pay in advance for their possible recall elections if they are elected, amounts determined by law.
Ending the Filibuster
Packing the courts
Nationalizing election law that make elections less secure
