Super Bowl LV was, as the game always is, the most watched television broadcast of the year. Sunday's game, however, is the least watched NFL championship game since 2007. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs averaged 96.4 million viewers across all platforms, including CBS, ESPN Deportes and streaming on CBS Sports, NFL and Verizon digital and mobile properties. It's down about 5.5 percent from last year's all-in audience and the smallest total tune-in for a Super Bowl since 93.18 million people watched Super Bowl XLI in 2007.

Bruce Springsteen's Jeep ad taped in middle America: according to Raymond Arroyo that 82% of that county in Kansas voted for President Trump. You can't make this up.
It was on TV??
Excellent trend—another decade and only robots will be watching the anti-white hatefest.
If not for the interest in Tom Brady, the ratings probably would have been even lower.
Here’s a little bit of insight. Super Bowl is usually the busiest day of the year at Domino’s. Sunday, drivers were being sent home early because it wasn’t very busy. Wasn’t very busy last year either.
That’s right. A LOT lower.
Yeah, you would think the add would have been placed in one of those places where Biden received 105 percent of eligible voters and where Trump received 0 votes.
I admit - I watched the Super Bowl. It was an annoying, commercial filled, saccharine corporate virtue-signaling festival. Because the score wasn’t in doubt, I turned it off with 10 minutes remaining and felt relieved.
But how many actually paid attention to the game?
How many habitually blanked the commercials
that would usually have actually paid attention?
How much after game griping about what a
colossal waste of bandwidth the event was?
Well, I watched all about five minutes of it. Hoping I did betray myself in doing so, lol. Also watched the NHL on NBC that afternoon (Philadelphia at Washington) and saw Ovie score a couple of goals.
I still don’t buy it either. Bet almost anything it was far, far lower.
Did you read the initial post in this thread. The numbers therein were especially written to deceive and look far better than the truth. iow the truth again is sacrificed for fake news.
Did not watch.
In the past, I recall people talking about the special commercials on the Super Bowl. But you can watch those commercials on YouTube nowadays and not sit through the game to see them.
Lets face it, that a lot of people who don’t watch a football game all year watch the Super Bowl. If those casual fans tune out the ratings will crater.
What was the deal with the old senile guy driving around in Winter in an open air jeep? Was he escaping from a nursing home?
Still not low enough.
Then you missed the ad toward the end where the NFL vowed to continue to work for racial justice. They’re woke, you see. Better people than you. Too bad no one was watching to be inspired by their nobility
Had been boycotting NFL games all season...did not miss it...
But, we put it on since wifey wanted to watch the SB commercials...go figure...!
Loved the commercial about the adopted girl swimmer...so inspiring ...actually teared up...Thank You Toyota...!!
By rights, this should have had huge ratings.
• The current champions trying to repeat
• Tom Brady leading a new team (that went 7-9 the year before he got there) to the Superbowl and going for his 7th ring; will he be able to claim the undisputed crown of GOAT by winning?
I didn’t watch it; I haven’t watched a single NFL game since the kneeling started. But under normal circumstances, this would have been can’t miss TV. That’s a pretty compelling matchup.
