President Joe Biden’s cancellation of the permit for the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, in the name of curbing climate change, will cause an enormous amount of CO2 to be released into the atmosphere, according to the Energy Equipment and Infrastructure Alliance (EEIA), because oil from Canada will still travel by diesel-fueled trains to U.S. refineries at the Gulf.
“We have all heard about the thousands of jobs that will be lost with the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline, but a little basic math reveals that President Biden's Keystone decision will increase carbon emissions equal to putting nearly half a million more cars on the road,” said the EEIA in a press alert.
According to his campaign website, Biden’s climate change plan would, “Ensure the U.S. achieves a 100% clean energy economy and reaches net-zero emissions no later than 2050.”

But I think we’re missing the key point — Trump thought the pipeline was a good idea. THEREFORE Joe has to cancel the pipeline. There’s not really a lot of thinking needed here: Orange Man Bad.

The Idiot Biden doesn’t care if it boosts carbon output as long as it hurts America and Americans.

The only thing needed to get Biden to agree to keep the pipeline was to show him on a map that the oil would travel downhill. His handlers must have kept that from him.
So long as his friends are for it and he wins elections, it doesn’t matter.
How is he smart enough to be on the wrong side of every issue?

The chance of an accident with trucks or freight trains increases substantially. Pipelines are much safer and far more "green."

Remember when dishwashers were made to run on a gallon or so of water? And it took three hours to run a load of dishes?
Well, people started washing dishes by hand again - using about 30 to 40 times more water. Yup. I’ve got a liberal associate (used to be a friend) who sends me links to news of oil cars derailing.
Our former home town is a deep water port and possible site for oil exports. This is his way of saying “See! It’s too dangerous for our town”.
But he has been suspiciously quite since the pipeline was cancelled in favor of rail and trucks.
All of the useful idiots are in for a rude “awoke” when they see the price of a tiny electric vehicle and then become aware that they can’t recharge it by plugging it into the 120-volt outlet in their garage. And there is no place to charge it at their apartment parking space. Somebody is going to have to belly up to the cost of a charging station and it ain’t going to be cheap-probably a few thousand. The landlord isn’t going to bare the expense. A black market in charging stations will develop and then the thieves will come calling.
Another matter they haven’t been schooled on is the fact that the plastics that their favorite electronic toys are made of consist of hydrocarbons. Where do the hydrocarbons come from? Yep, a big ole barrel of crude oil or a few thousand cubic feet of natural type gas. When Lying Biden gets his green economy in operation he plans to eliminate the hydrocarbon containing fossil fuels. They are screwed again.
Its so easy to be a useful idiot for the Democrats. To qualify you simply don’t need to know anything and do what you are told. Why a lot of monkeys could do it.

I heard that oil companies largely weren’t publicly traded on television stock market. If that’s true, then that would explain a great deal of the hatred.
