Donald Trump Jr. will go to Wyoming to campaign against Republican Rep. Liz Cheney after she voted to impeach his father.

'I hear it's lovely during primary season,' he told Politico's Playbook.

Cheney has been under fire from conservatives since she voted to impeach Donald Trump even as establishment Republicans - such as Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell - have defended her for voting her conscious.

Trump has been blessed with a loyal, law abiding, and productive family. Trump Jr. is ready to rumble. Hope to see Baron involved when he’s ready.

I wish someone, anyone, could explain how that will be achieved with rigged elections. . .

It’s all about revenge rather than the fact Cheney betrayed those that voted for her.

I didn’t state that I learned it. I was asking for your help in clarification in the rules. Perhaps you’re the one who should do some learning 😂.

Not exactly—
If the apostrophe is after the “s”, it’s a possessive PLURAL. For example, if a ball belonged to a group of boys, it would be the BOYS’ ball.

Other possessives are usually just formed by adding “’s”. One major exception to this is the word “its”. Many writers use “it’s” as the possessive, but that is simply incorrect. “It’s” is a contraction of “it is” or “it has”.

Plurals NEVER require an apostrophe.

Other misused words that cause me to respond to are complement/compliment and principal/principle.

And I love Man Vs. Food! Being an avid cook myself, I spend a good bit of time watching the foodie shows.

The rules are simple. An apostrophe indicates possession or contraction, but not plurality. Here are a few examples:

Can’t = can not
Its = possessive
It’s = it is
The horses’ coats were matted with mud = possessive
The horse’s coat was matted with mud = possessive

Forgive me for the personal question, but is English your second language? Those of us who were born here and completed Fifth Grade know these rules, but they can be confusing for those learning English as a second language.

Lol, I think the original host had to drop out due to health problems. Anyway, my reference to the show was meant as sardonic humor although I actually do indeed watch the reruns when I come across them 😊.

Lose vs. Loose - I see this on FR all the time.
Quite vs. Quiet
Effect vs. Affect
Principle vs. Principal
Capitol vs. Capital
Bear vs. Bare
There vs. Their vs. They’re

But, as I mentioned. I’ve got my own list of faults.

Liz Cheney only eeked thru the GOP primary in Wyoming with an unimpressive 39% of the vote in a multi-candidate field. She had just carpetbagged her way into Wyoming and probably got most of votes because voters either were familiar with the last name “Cheney” or because national conservative radio show hosts and “Tea Party” leaders were talking her up and selling her to GOP voters as some kind of “anti-establishment” candidate (which was a laughable premise but people believed it because Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin touted that argument). She has no long entrenched political power in that state so beating her in a primary with one good candidate is certainly doable.
