Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Friday that the GOP belongs exclusively to former President Donald Trump.
Greene said Trump received a record amount of votes from Americans and Republicans “because they loved his policies” and what he represented.
“They loved his fight, they loved the fact that for once we had a president that stood up for America, stood up for American businesses and remembered the forgotten man,” Greene said. “He was a president that didn’t care about your skin color because God created us all equal and thank God our Constitution affirms that.”
“He was a president that wanted every single person to achieve and that’s why we supported him. That’s why I’ve always supported him. And when I tell you Republican voters support him still. The party is his. It doesn’t belong to anybody else,” Greene said.

My recommendation is to send $1 or $2 to the GOP just so you end up on their donor list. They call you at least once a month, asking for more money.
That’s when I tell them that I send my money to conservative candidates like her.
I also vote straight GOP. But on the ticket where I perceive there’s a RINO, I write in my conservative preference.
Such things send a message.

The positve benefit is you get to tell them what’s on your mind.
Also, you end up on a short list for pollsters. You can affect change in polling numbers as a result. When I engaged this tactic, I got pollster calls about 5-6 times per year. When I didn’t do this tactic, zero calls from pollsters.
Very effective use of $2.
The GOP is dead. When President Trump is back in charge, and won’t be 2024, much sooner than that, he will probably have a new party.

Trump’s party did nothing to stop election fraud and demonized those few members who dared to speak up. It attacked the President for an antifa-led attack in the Capitol building that had nothing to do with the speech. It sat mute as the Dems and media screamed “insurrection” that involved a couple of broken windows. It has done nothing to expose the murdering Capitol cop or seek justice for the murdered Air Force veteran. It surrendered the Senate to Schumer. It voted overwhelmingly to protect anti-Trump Liz Cheney. And it threw Greene under the bus.
The GOP is not and will never be Trump’s party. The sooner Greene and the other Freedom Caucus members realize that, the sooner she can help the President create a new party to take on the Uniparty.
They do more than call. They email and text and regular mail.

Completely agree with you. It amazes me that so many on this site continue to believe that a new party will fail and we should continue to try to rebuild the GOP which is utter nonsense.
Now is the time for a new party.

I agree. I think Mitchie and the RNC merely tolerated President Trump because they had little choice, waiting for the chance for betrayal.

Register as an independent the GOP does not represent you.
I registered as an independent when I first signed up to vote 51 years ago, and am still. Although if Trump starts a new party, I may well sign up.
