The Harvard Law Review has named a Los Angeles-born Egyptian-American as what it believes is its first Muslim president in its 134-year history, elevating him to the top of one of the most prestigious U.S. law journals.
Harvard Law School student Hassaan Shahawy said he hoped his election represented "legal academia's growing recognition of the importance of diversity, and perhaps its growing respect for other legal traditions."

Didn’t Barack Obama have this position at the Harvard Law Review at one time? Or was he merely editor or something?

“growing respect for other legal traditions.”
What the hell does this mean? He is a natural born citizen so why would he care any more about other legal traditions than anyone else?

"legal academia's growing recognition of the importance of
diversity"
Nothing else is important in all of American life. NOTHING. Not merit, hard work, achievement, accomplishment, drive, initiative, or success. All that matters is your skin melanin content and that you don't have evil white ancestors.
To: Recovering_Democrat
Is this another politically correct appointment like Obama, or does this person write the articles unlike Obama who did not.

and perhaps its growing respect for other legal traditions. This smacks of stupidity!! Why shouldn't the Harvard Law Review be led by someone from OUR legal tradition??!

Just being born here does not make one a natural born citizen.
One is only naturally a citizen when they are born here of citizen parents.
The children of foreigners are also born with the nationality of their foreign parent(s).
Anyone with more than ONE nationality at birth is NOT naturally an American.
