Decades ago the talented hippies moved there for the dope and the freedom to do whatever from California.

Starting about 2 years ago, some semi normal’s started moving there. Supposedly to be near family and/or grand kids. After they got there, apparently little if any family stuff goes on. Both guys were/are tax CPAs and could work anywhere.

The latest 2 are younger. One a woman left her family. When the last of her 4 kids finished college, she went for a divorce and moved to the Portland area last year. She is still supposedly a special teacher for kids with problems. Some how she does her classes by remote from Portland. This is her last semester. Of course she could do remote teaching for whoever hires her, and she could live anywhere. She doesn’t seem to be concerned about the violence in Portland, which scares her adult kids and parents. Their contact with her is a weekly Zoom.

The other one is a single lost soul/guy and a really talented Gardner and landscape designer/maintainer. He has started several business re his green thumb talents in the Bay area and up North. He would then get bought out and leave that area go a couple hundred miles away and start another similar business. Then sell it later.

Recently, he had 2 separate similar businesses, one here and one in California on the Oregone border. He sold both of them last year, and he is now in Oregone trying to decide where to locate and do what he is skilled at.

One of our younger and very cynical relatives summed up this younger guy as a stoner, who sobered up and wants get into raising pot on a big time basis. By going to Oregone, he is less apt to embarrass his parents and siblings here.

The child traffickers say thank you. The poor children cry, helplessly. We are under the control of very evil people. Just as the people said, via their votes, they wished to be.

“Don’t forget the violence, burning and mayhem.”

It’s possible if the hookers were there they might have been to engaged to burn and riot. I believe the Bible talks about Sodom and Gamora? And it also says that any woman doing the servicing cannot be married...something about covet they neighbors wife?

Another problem on this is once it reaches the main house, who can vote for it that doesn’t step into conflict of interest Lots of Pandora’s boxes here.

Almost. Possession of hard drugs now results in a $100 fine.

Typical pervert response.

Thank you.

It took a long time, a lot of hard work, and more than a little luck to get to the top of my field.

I can see regulations requiring both the pimps and whores having a license and a special tax and regular health checkups. They will also require a daily log of the Johns names and addresses in case social diseases require contact tracing.

Another step closer to a Portlandia Utopia! First decriminalize all drug use. Defund the Police. Allow arrested people, even if they are convicted felons to be released within hours of their being jailed with no bail requirement. Enforce the sanctuary city laws so “guest workers” (even if their chosen work is of a criminal and gang nature) can not be removed.

And now legalized prostitution and effectively sex trafficing.

You got to love a State and City where nightly riots happen and the police are told to stand down descend into total anarchy.

Vice crap should be up to a person and their God. As long as there’s no human slavery or violence involved (which legalization should help get rid of), who am I to tell somebody they can’t sell their wares?

Government's job is to force virtue at the point of a gun. Except for charity; don't ask my why that's an exception, but the right-statists tell me so.

Just a couple of months ago, on Hwy. 18 out to the Coast, a little girl’s body was discovered in a wayside park. She was detrmined to be between 6-10 years old. As of this date, this poor baby has still not been identified. Now this murder has fallen off the pages. Child sex trafficking is running rampant in our country.

In other news, Oregon is vying with California for the “Hell On Earth” award.

I know it is and it makes me sick. The trafficker should ne, in my opinion, shot down like mad doge when caught. Child trafficking was one pf President's pet peeves. He was doing everything in his power to stop it. And was having some success. But the people did not want it stopped. They wanted him out of the way. And they got him out of the way. The Biden Regime will not only start it back, they will aid and abet it.

That poor child you mentioned, and thank you for sharing, not only died a lonely and painful death. But she will be buried in an unmarked pauper's grave. With few to no markings on it. In my opinion, Hell cannot be hot enough for people who commit acts such as this upon innocent children. I recall the funeral of an abused Child in Polk County, Florida where the only attendees were the Sheriff and his Deputies. I hope the child you mentioned had someone attend her funeral. Again, thank you for sharing.

Nope just your average Libertarian. This is why libertarianism has failed to garner great support among Conservatives.
