In the wake of the passage of the $1.9 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Friday predicted the Democrats will throw away their control of Congress with a “radical” budget agenda.
Gingrich told Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” that the Democrats “have clearly decided” they will “go for broke on a radical agenda.” He said this “almost certainly guarantees” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will take over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) role.

Not really! He did at least force Clinton to temporarily adopt his agenda. However it couldn’t be sustained primarily because he had the Clinton zipper problem. So yes he finally got rolled there.

Newt never followed up on his "Contract with America" because he was cheating on his wife and being blackmailed over the affair.
Newt has no idea how deeply the RATS have infiltrated the GOP.
They know every move they make and have months to plan.
Even if Newt is right, it show’s how the Republican mindset is built to do nothing. They think only in terms of the next election, not in advancing a liberty based agenda.
How will they throw it away? If 75 million people vote for Republicans, Democrats will just produce numbers saying 80 million voted for them.
After this last elxn, why would anyone think we'll ever have another one run without Democrat corruption, which gives them the fraudulent victory?
I think that if Republicans don't start saying, every day, "Vote out every democrat, or lose all your freedoms," they'll lose again. Apparently, many of them are losers anyway, and they also should be voted out.
I'm in favor of keeping only the ones like Jordan, Gaetz, Issa, Nunes, et al. They're real patriots.

Yes, and that's the problem. Based on how McCarthy worked to keep Liz Cheney in place while doing nothing to stop the Marjorie Taylor Greene committee purge—just the first of more committee purges of conservaties to come—McCarthy would be a continuation of the Hastert-Boehner-Ryan line of destructive RINO Speakers who do far more harm than good.

Yes, agreed. But it was quite naive for Gingrich (or anybody else) to think it was going to be a fair election.
Newt. We really don’t think they legitimately won control of the congress.
He was 100% correct. Trump did win in a landslide but our republic has been lost to communism.
