Biden Threatens to 'Raise the Cost on Russia,' Demands Navalny's Release

President Joe Biden on Thursday issued a warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the sentencing of opposition leader Alexei Navalny to over two years in prison, saying the U.S. ''will not hesitate to raise the cost on Russia.''

Biden said in a statement on his foreign policy, the first of his presidency, that he ''made it very clear to President Putin in a manner very different from my predecessor that the days of the United States rolling over in the face of Russian aggressive actions, interfering with our elections, cyberattacks, poisoning its citizens, are over.''

He added, ''We will not hesitate to raise the cost on Russia and defend our vital interests and our people, and we will be more effective in dealing with Russia when we work in coalition and coordination with other like-minded partners.''

Considering the US interferes everywhere, what right do we have to complain about supposed interference from them?

Plugs is raising the cost on Red China too. Instead of 50% he’s demanding 75%.

This is a very good move on Biden’s part, for two reasons.

1. Other countries just love it when we lecture them on their internal affairs. This is particularly true when the country has been in existence much longer than the United States has.

2. The US is not facing any serious problems anywhere. So starting up another Cold War would be a great idea. It would give everyone in DC something to do.

/s (of course)

He won’t raise the cost on China, which has imprisoned whole populations, decreed forced abortions, persecuted Christians, and is maintaining a one-party techno-dictatorship.

And Putin can reply that Dems have blatantly stolen an election, impeached the president twice, and are threatening him and his family with criminal prosecution for contesting the election. Putin can show the video of Ruby Freeman and company taking out the fake ballots in the suitcases after removing the poll watchers, and the newly released video of the white van full of fake ballots arriving at the TCF Center in Detroit after 3 AM on November 4, 2020, while discussing election integrity in the U.S. The U.S. has become an international joke. People in Europe know more about the election fraud in November than half the American population.

Excellent point. And I would add to your list that China is responsible for the Covid virus. They caused it. Maybe it was done accidentally. Maybe it was done on purpose. No matter. They own it. Yet no one cares to hold them accountable in the least.

This really must make Putin smile, more than any thing he has encountered with America. Seeing the Left take over and Communism silencing all opposition, with a senile, old fool as figurehead. I never thought I’d see the day.

Dr. Jill helped the White House staff pick Joe's "red" phone.

He uses it and thinks he's talking to these world leaders, while staff do the actual negotiations.
