The metastatic cancer of “cancel culture” that has taken root in the American sociopolitical environment features a couple of mechanisms all too common in communist regimes -- purges and struggle sessions.
In the former Soviet Union, it was Stalin’s practice to purge anyone he saw as a threat to his position. It didn’t matter whether the person was a staunch communist or a true believer in the revolution. If he didn’t bend to Stalin’s will, he was removed. Many people just disappeared.

In America today, if you are not a Democrat or are an insufficiently progressive Democrat, you too can be a counterrevolutionary and an enemy of the state. If you do not see the similarity between the bloodlust Stalin had for Trotsky and the hate Democrats have for Donald Trump and anyone associated with him – with Trump supporters demonized as “domestic terrorists,” “white supremacists” and “insurrectionists” -- you either do not know history or choose not to look.

Mao’s practices are evident in the new Congress. Democrats are demanding that Republicans repeat the approved words about the election being free and fair, with Biden as the legitimate president. Anything less is branded as “disinformation” and a “conspiracy theory.” Anyone not willing to recite this new progressive catechism is branded an “insurrectionist” or an “enemy of democracy,” and must be shamed and/or removed. Some Democrats are calling for people to be arrested, jailed, and sent to re-education camps for nothing other than holding “harmful” perspectives.
Scary stuff.

And, amazingly, with REAL, SEVERE political turmoil developing, the stock markets go up? Really? The corruption has become systemic across every institution and entity. I have people telling me they’re going to pull their money from 401k plans. Money managers have to be hearing this too, and yet the market goes up? Talk about corruption. When it blows, it will make the Great Depression look like a 2 month recession.
No it is not going to happen and we even have millions of guns. Ever wonder why the Jews didn’t fight back? We always said it was because they took the guns.
As this unfolds here and now, it wasn’t because they took the guns, it was because they simply couldn’t believe their country could turn on them like this.

America has been something of a City on a Hill for much of her existence, but has ended by recalling the book of Judges, where “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”

I agree. The comfort level is way too high in this country. All this blather about “CW III” is ridiculous. A critical mass of people is not angry enough.
I continue to pray that God does not turn his back on our country. But he let his people wander in the desert for 40 years...…. People are FINALLY beginning to see the damage but I honestly feel it’s too late.
God won't turn his back on this country, but neither is he going to deliver it to us all wrapped up with a bow on top.

Purges happen in every totalitarian regime. French Revolution, Bolshevik Revolution, Chinese communists, North Korea, and millennia of kingdoms dating to the beginning of recorded history. The coalition of race mongers, foreign agents, multinational corporations, Social leftists, academia, unions, Big Tech, media, are held together by one common interest - absolute power. There are deep divisions within their camp over who gets to call the shots. We can look forward to continuous internal power struggles in the next 4 years.
In the USA it’s not the government that sends you to a gulag. The job of purging is done gleefully by corporations. They prevent you from posting your thoughts, they fire you and blackball you. And the government does nothing about it because it’s happy with it.
Different kind of gulag, same results.

Americans are comfortable with their gigabit speed Internet, 5G mobile, NetFlix, Hulu, Facebook, Twitter... and the pols know that keeping those lights on keeps the populace sufficiently calm. Next up: legalization of marijuana and likely other drugs. If it works for the NorKs, it’ll work for the Dems.
I'm a student of the Bible. There are some things with which God has no patience. For example, the Israelites murdering their children (making them "pass through the fire"). And homosexuality. (Genesis 19, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:26,27,32.) To name a few.
America has descended into the same abyss, and I think we may have reached the limit of God's patience for us, as a nation.
He still has mercy for His faithful, but even quasi/pseudo Christian "churches" have included themselves into the abyss.

It would not surprise me if the Lord deliberately took POTUS Trump out of office in order to hasten national America into the darkness she obviously, insanely craves.
The whole China Virus phenomenon is so surreal it's almost as if it's not just man made.
That said, I think there will be a severe market correction at some point. But it will come after the resistance to the coup (the counter-coup) has started to form.
Dividing the country is the last hope for freedom.
