CIA Counterterror Chief Suggests Going To War Against ‘Domestic Insurgents’

The former head of the CIA Counterterrorism Center has suggested that counterinsurgency tactics used by the military in Iraq and Afghanistan should be applied to ‘domestic extremists’ inside the US.

NPR reports that Robert Grenier, who directed the CIA’s Counterterrorism program from 2004 to 2006, declared “We may be witnessing the dawn of a sustained wave of violent insurgency within our own country, perpetrated by our own countrymen.”

In an op-ed for The New York Times last week, Grenier suggested that “extremists who seek a social apocalypse … are capable of producing endemic political violence of a sort not seen in this country since Reconstruction.”

Sounds like a reasonable plan but you might in the future not publish that idea on a public viewable website or unencrypted! Just saying the fed big brother has more informants than the old Stasi (East German secret police).

Antifa and BLM are issues for local law enforcement. They are made up of mostly cowards and emotionally unstable people. When faced with a real threat, they run.

This situation seems like something out of a Hollywood production set when a cue is missed, someone fails to enter the scene, and the director fails to yell “CUT!!”.... so the actor on the set looks around a bit confused, and then blurts out their lines as if everything went as planned... trying not to be the one who failed to follow the script.

I hope this guy is No longer an employee of the U.S. Government in any area of National Security. I wonder how much he knew about President Trump being accused with false Intelligence information.

This rat lead government should try and unite this country by following the constitution as written.

If they believe going to war with a Free people is a good idea,they best think again. A civil war here will not be a cake walk for our government they should take the civil war between the North and the South as an example.
