A Newsmax anchor who stormed off during an interview with Mike Lindell made a grovelling apology to the MyPillow boss last night.
Bob Sellers expressed profuse regret at how Tuesday night's interview with Lindell had descended into a shouting match over voter fraud.
The anchor had desperately asked his producers to cut Lindell off as the CEO barked about having '100 percent proof' of manipulation by the Dominion Voting machines.
Exasperated and red-faced Sellers got out of his chair and walked off set, leaving his co-host Heather Childers to carry on without him.
'Mike is a friend of this network, and we were supposed to discuss Twitter's decision to ban him and the impacts of cancel culture on his business.
'But there was some confusion and Mike thought that we were to talk about vote fraud in the recent election. It's a topic we have covered extensively on Newsmax.
'I was frustrated that we couldn't focus on the current, very pressing issue of free speech and cancel culture and, in hindsight, there is no question that I could have handled the end of the interview differently.
Lindell was appearing on Tuesday's show after Twitter banned the corporate account for MyPillow, citing 'repeated violations of our Civic Integrity Policy'.

Apology too late.
Why can’t interviewers just let the interviewees speak. That’s how it works. Let the interviewee speak and let the audience decide if he’s right or wrong. The interviewer should not be part of the story.
