The only way to save education is to get the government out of it at all levels. Privatize all of it, let parents choose, and provide vouchers for poor kids. How much more of this are people going to ignore? Our Republican state senator sent out a newsletter bragging about spending more money on public ed. I guess that’s what voters want, but it’s hard to believe people want to keep paying horribly high taxes to support a failing school system that teaches their children to hate their parents, Christianity, and the country.
Mao encouraged kids to kill their parents and their teachers. Some students even ATE their teacher during the Cultural Revolution.
He should do more reading on Mao before he heads down this path.

Public employee unions are not a must but, a happy medium should be that any union representing pub employees must be apolitical, and focused only on workers grievance, work conditions, and contract negotiations. This would create new employees focused unions that are not connected to the afl-cio. And it would stop back door left wing funding at the tax payers expense. It will take moving heaven and hell to accomplish this at the Fed level, but push it in your individual states at the local and state govt levels. Contact your State Reps and Senators now.
