And Pence got the DOJ to represent him and stop a legal suit that BEARS examination (which SCOTUS then also ignored)— and then chickened out with a pro-forma apparat’s excuses for not using powers he Constitutionally has-imho.

Don’t think so, I understand it was based on research into space base solar panel technology which would beam electricity back to earth. They don’t exist, but a beam could certainly start fires along with zapping birds and planes. Lots of people exploring it so Israel might be, but Japan was the first. The fact that NASA researched it in the 90s might enter into it, conspiracy folks like NASA conspiracies. Also Israel sent a prototype solar generator to the space station in 2019. For use in the station and on future space missions, not to beam power to earth.
